Nobody knows that but there is plenty of oil below the sandy surface of Arrakis.

I can't explain a thing like oil on Arrakis to you, normal people.You don't have special devastator from dune 2 like I do.Why do you even bother?  8)

Ok.Now I'm serious.All the windtrap farms philosophy:They sucks.Build windtraps scattered through the base and always have more then enough of them. That's all.And you must be extra careful if you play against Harkonnen. :P

And one more thing.Don't think that there is no oil on Arrakis 'cause I'll get you with my big mean devastator and it doesn't matter if you all played Dune 2 cause I have the little beast in my garage and it's ready to kick some ass. 8) 8) 8)

still, windtrap farms are not really stratigicly built. It is better to build them in a straight line across the back of your base on the edge of the map.

I put windtraps always there where I have already place...so there where I won`t have enough place to put building but its still place for some windtraps. Usually near edge of map. Ans usually in line. But sometimes I put it all over the base :P duh

Sometimes you are forced to put windtraps close to each other or close to other buildings but it's best to put them in line far apart from everything else but still they must be protected. 8) 8) 8)
