Production speeds

Unit production is faster as you build mroe of the structures required to produce the unit...  is there a point where doing this becomes ineffective?

yes, only build three of the same building

i used a stop watch and timed it out

1 = 0% faster

2 = 25% faster

3 = 50% faster

4 = 50% faster

5 = 50% faster

and so on...

everyone knows that the more you build, the more output comes out. only when you build more, the manufacturing speed has about one third of its current speed added.

3 buildings of the same typ brings max. unit output of what THAT building provides.

Only 3 building will make a difference. IF YOU BUILD MORE THAN THREE BUILDINGS, THEY WILL NOT SPEED UP PRODUCTION OF ANYTHING AT ALL.

I have always wondered about this.

I have a feeling that Black Emperor might be right, but I am not sure.

Does anyone know the *real* answer to this?  

If someone (like a mod-maker) could look at the programming code and state  what the *exact* formulas are, that would put this issue to rest once and for all.

If i have it correct, one extra building speeds up the production with 25% percent.

if you use the tilexu you only can build three or four vats before your units start getting lost in the slow animation of the vat.

And they qeue up like all units when they can't get out the factory, they are still building, and when the entrance is free, a whole army comes out...

The 3 building rule does not apply to Construction Yards though (at least in Dune2000).

And with palaces. I build once five palaces, cos I had a lot of money, much space and a lot of units, so I wanted have haos lightning faster. It was faster but did this fifth palace did something?
