Does anyone know what Maple Story is? If so what size is it, I have checked various sites but none of them tell its size.

Yeah, it's a better idea that you read up on the game. There will be tons of opinions going around because of its immense popularity... sadly.

I've read lots of user reviews on the game (Maple story)... But there are TONS of different opinions. :D

Finding an official review (ie a paid critic) is generally the best way as they try to write an unbiased review as opposed to any old opinion.

I went to IGN but they're useless, and I checked Neoseeker once but I don't remember them even having a review so I guess I'll have to check out Gamespot... But they're usually corrupt.

Don't know of any "missile-age" equipment but there are TONS of historical naval warfare games.

Can you hint any example? A strategy? I found quite a lot of ship simulators, but none on a fleet level.

I've never played it but Harpoon 3 is an ultra-realistic naval sim (it actually includes scenarios in current time, as well as prior engagements).

It is still possible to buy Emperor, so I suggest he does that.  Regardless, his brother has Emperor, so it doesn't matter.
