that's right cheating sucks, and I have never used cheats in any strategy game ever, except the rules file for red alert, but that was for creating cool missions.

I only cheat if i finished a game. Or if someone else cheats, for example CS.

Alot of hackers p*sses me off. I simply turn on my OGC and p*ss off them.

The software programmers are making the only software ready for "anti-cheating". So soon it won't be possible anymore to cheat online. [ if it works, and "soon" doesn't have to mean soon when programmers say it ;D ]

If you joint a clan the amount of cheaters usually isn't that big. You get banned if you do.

And don't blame the hackers, the only thing they do is tweaking windows '95 so it can be used with 3 network cards and installing a linux server on a remote net server so they can internet at a faster speed ;D

If you'd like to place the blame with some one, look at the "young adolessent boys" who think they are cool when the cheat and winn, ore one of those darn krackers.

Gryphon. In coding everything is possible. For example, CSGuard. That  anti cheat checks for files and commands. OGC detects that the Guard scanned the drive.

Example.

CSGuard Executes command. Aimbot-ON

OGC Says or Blocks the commands. No we dont have the Command so leave me alone.

CSGuard Says Ok. You are validated.

In conclusion. There is always some hacks that can hide it. If Cs 1.4 comes out however. Hackers will have a difficult time hacking the Anti cheat software, So maybe it takes 4 months or less to hack it.

They can make the software pretty "uncheatable", but still it is software so you have an possebilety to crack it.

I'm a fan of the Sardaukar's. But still they are useless in Dune2 and Dune2000. In Emperor of dune they have more use now and can even destroy a whole base singlehanded. (If your lucky )

PATHETIC? You may know, I HAVE tried it. There is no problem to modificate D2K to use Sardaukars. OK, one or two ARE ...not so powerful. But 20 scattered units can defeat it! Also, in Dune II was Sardaukar only a name of a side with similar units of Harkonnens, only without Devastator. In D2K they had no chance, because of their attacks in one or two. Also in Emperor. One Sardaukar isn't powerful. 20 warriors are.

Don't forget - in Dune 1 they were undefeatable!

Yep, but if you didn't pay the Emperor you where a death man. The Sardaukar would kill you instantly where ever you are.

Just as the troops of The Baron, when you fly to one of his places you get a warning of entering Hark airspace and moments later, your death.

Dune 1 is a hybrid of strategy, adventure, RPG etc. Also, Terror is true. Sardaukar is in Dune II a name of house or side, not a unit. Sardaukar Siege Tank is same Sardaukar as Sardaukar Trooper. So the best unit can't be Sardaukar, only a best side.

Also, best is Sonic Tank.

Hahaha, Kirov, did you thought that? The Sonic wave is the most powerful shot of Dune II, and the Sonic is faster and the Sonic has a longer range, tell me, how would a Deva destroy a sonic? And not with outnumbering...

ehm... i think deva would also win.. at least.. usually my deva wins.. it can kill a sonic in one blast.. a sonic needs 3 blasts to kill the deva (i think)
