what the hell with omega drivers web site...i went there to check for new drivers and i got hit with cheap porn spam and viri/spyware shit....dont they respect them selfs??

i will remove omega drivers and stop dealling with them....

go to web site click geforce drivers then click winxp then go back home again and do it slowly one or 2 times the popup is hidden and appearring in random way...man i just formated today i dont have any

here is a small detail to prove it :

i get a small malware pup up at the corner of the screen trying to redirect me to nitrous.internetfuel  web site when i try to close it the shit start porring on my system .....i must say its a tricky thing and it didnt happen to me 2 times at the same time but i test it it more than 20 times befor posting because i cant belive it either

just try spending 2 minuts browsing like i told u ...i know i am right

Are you sure you don't have some other virus/spyware/malware installed on your computer? There are things out there that will make it look like the virus or whatever is being installed by the website when it is just tricking you into thinking it is coming from a respected website.

i got cheap porn adware dialer to some bikkiny crap..and a viri in some kind which kept the popos

first i didnt click on the pop links...the small evils windows that showed ..i tryed to close it and when i did it went crazy like cancer..spreading across my system files..u call them torjans i guess..

actuly i use firefox so i do have pop blocker but i forgot it off when i was downloding somthing from game spy...i dont usaly put lots of shilds on because i never serf the net.. i go only to trusted sites like here or ea or game spy..i didnt expect to get hit from omega w/s..thats what made me angree.

the pc is like playe station to me... i dont chat i dont email i dont serf or chare files.i dont go to any (((places)))  ::) .i am a gammer with slow ping,,i need all my pc power to back up the games i playe which take all my time..i am happy with it

and i dont need the contamination to my machine with malware  whitch will risk my gamming playe power....

what i mean with cheap  is not the money..i mean bad stuff and crap content with some extra worms

I'm wondering what kind of jam. I prefer Kraft Strawberry (or rasberry mm) Jam.

I went to omega drivers on my good computer a week ago, and nothing wrong there. That computer however was running firefox, AVG, spywareblaster, ad-aware, and sygate firewall, so I don't think it could get through if there is any.

I'm at home on my old computer using IE, will click and see if I get spyware. :D

It is possible that they're advertisers put in bad ads that are not allowed. I know this has happened on other big websites where the advertisers put in malicious code uch as popups (when they are not suppsoed to use popups)

I'm guessing it's something wrong on your side, or the advertisers put in bad code without omega knowing it.

Spicy, there are programs, bad programs, that will infect a machine and then stop you from browsing normally. When you go to a website, omegadrivers.net for example, they will redirect you to their own pron sites. They are called web redirectors or more commonly hijackers.

It sounds to me as if you were infected by one of these, and then you have beeen given the impression that when you went to omegadrivers.net, or whatever url you did use, it infected you with porn.

The fact that it hasnt affected anyone else and it has affected you, the fact that you prefer to reinstall then protect yourself sensible makes me come to these conclusions.

As for everyone else making jokes about the word "jam"...perhaps he meant it as "ram". You know, ram in as much memory as you want.

well the word jam is used for food thats true...its used olso for things when the got stuck..

like jamed machine gun..... there olso another meanning for jam..like trafic jam..it means the

street is stuffed and over full.... like there is no place for more cars...same meanning i use is to jam the the pc (to be able to over load it) with as mutch ram and video cards we can buy..

(like the sli sys) and the 1 giga ram cards.. so there will be no more places to put more cards.. u cant do that in ps....

the attack did came from omega.net  no question about this...i just said the pop window is random

you need to brows the web for few minuts..and then again maybe ure shilds will stop it..

I did manage to get the popup. After a while the computer I tested it on (WinXP SP2 virtual machine) rebooted. Browser was Opera. No futher findings after a sweep with Symantec Corp 10.

Think the warning is clear and we all like rasberry jam now. So topic closed.
