My Mix!

This has stemmed from a few mates mixing some songs together and then we sharing, so I thought I would have a mess about and see what I could come up with.  This Is my effort.  Now I think it can only have 20 downloads and is only up for 7 days, so until I can find somewhere better to upload it (I can't on this site :() I may just have to resubmit it.  Now remember this is only version .1 of it, so it will change.

Is that some MGS theme mixed in? I really liked it! Sounds really professional, and for a while I imagined it to be some Westwood Studios game soundtrack by Frank Klepacki!

Thanks Low! Maybe if I changed the title to something like OMG PRON, then people would come in.  It was a re-mix of MGS though I think I am going to get rid of it, or maybe shorten it down.

Making a music remix is an excellent thing to do. I'm also workin' on mine, but I want to complete the next part of my novel first.

I don't like File Factory, it proved to be a bit complicated compared to 4shared, and also has some adware on the site. I don't know Rapidshare. 4shared.com is perfect for me, it ensures you 100 megabytes space, stores the file for 1 months from the last download, the maximum upload size is 10 megabyte. It's free,has no spyware or adware, and download is also permitted (hot-linking to the MP3 is unfortunately not).

Putfile.com:

- Unlimited space for your files

- Registered users: 25MB maximum upload size for audio/video, and 2MB for an image

Liked the first and last bits, middle wasn't so much my thing but generally was really good. Especially liked the racing feeling of the first bit.

Nope reactor, nothing to do with Dune at all.  The songs were, in order.

I intend to change them, I don't really like the MGS2 song much, it sounds out of place.  But I have been playing around with the software I am using (audacity) and am tryin to do some sampling and that to make it better.

Anybody have any ideas on what songs I could include, a link to the song would be appreciated.

The "Enemy units approaching" musics are named Dune11-Dune16, you shall witness it. I would also like to hear the two victory songs also (these are a bit farther in the archive,but you might have no problem finding them). I'm curious how would you create a Dune battlefield remix with your pals :)

Ok then, Reactor bad news - I'm having great difficulty working with them Midis.  So if you could, can you convert them to MP3's and I should be able to work on them - further I have decided that rather then make a new one, I am going to someway incorporate them into my mix.  Along with some Final Fantasy music, and a few other bits and pieces.

Heh, this mix was actually a lot better than I thought when I downloaded it.

I esspecially like the first two serious minutes, good stuff. The rest isn't bad, but somehow just doesn't hit me. The sounds seem to jump too fast... they don't really blend togetether.

Though I must admit it is quite funny after all. :D

The change to the mortal kombat techno remix doesn't work. Maybe too sudden? Scorpion... subzero... good anyway ;)

I'm almost done with the small parts of battlefield musics...it's hard to create the different parts of musics, plus there'll be some great sound effects, I must make them too. Fasten your seatbelts, soon you shall hear MY mix! :)
