Two months of playing WOW equals the price of a new computer game.

Waste of money.

But if you compare the number of hours you spend in front of WoW, and that new computer game, you might find it to be worth it after all.

I haven't tried WoW yet, but it's a game with an upkeep. I don't like upkeeps. Staying away.

Well, I played the free beta and found out that it is just an ordinary MMORPG like every online RPG before it. My cousin and his friends have now played WOW since its release and their speeches have confirmed me of my opinion.

Grinding and fighting. Not for me. :|

Perhaps if you have database files...however these are yet kept in hands of Blizzard; amateurish databases like ie Ludmilla have only smaller portions of quests, char skills or NPCs. Also there were still many bugs in every of them, not to talk about modding servers, which make ie wild exp rates and so. I used to play at one amateur server, which I found good (playable ;) ), but due to rules of FED2k I won't post the address here. Altough it's always programmed by the server owners (thus we can't say it is pirated), it is still against the license.

Btw Blizzard lives from making attractive visuals and hero concepts; graphics are all, action the next.

LOL there's no offline part of it that I know of... but there are servers hosted by amateurs...

Anyway... I think I'll be Orc. I'll see.
