Is anyone familiar with google earth? I downloaded it just recently (free) and it is incredible. It is a 3d model of earth textured with pictures taken from satellites. The pictures for major cities like tokyo, new york, los angeles, san francisco, berlin, etc. etc. are realy detailed. You can even see people!

If you live in one of those big cities yourself, you'll likely be able to find your own house on it. You can visit anything in the world that you like. Try for instance the hidden city. It looks great.

:P Well.. i talked about it with a friend of mine. But neither of us knows where it should be located :-). If it is in the jungle, you'll probably not find it. But I don't know :-). But I suppose the US government would've made sure that Area 51 wouldn't be well visible on the map :-)

Isn't it supposed to be the Nevada desert? *cough*

I see the people! I see the people going about their pitiful little lives, unaware that they are being watched from on high! Mwa ha ha ha! Puppets! ...This is only going to fuel my god complex. Excellent. :)

Ok, go to Las Vegas, then go north, and west slightly, and you should see a runway going across a salt lake.

Oh, that's on maps.google.com tho.  I have also found American Spy Planes on USAF bases in the UK, as well as F-16's.  Have screens at school.

Quick, people! Download it before George calls it a tool for terrorists!

To late, he already did that.

Area 51 is old. . try the so called "medical facility" next to LA.

Wow, the best part about google earth is getting directions. I tried from charlottetown pei to calgary alberta. If you press the play button it goes to each place you make a turn etc. Really cool. would definitely be great to use when going on a trip (especially with a laptop).

Cool how it zooms in and out and moves from place to place.

Yeah, I'm really impressed with this program. Google is really taking on a lot of innovations. I've pinpointed my previous homes and current one, and all my friends' locations :D
