Sorry :-, I was playing GTA: SA and there was some guy on the radio complaining that its becoming an uphill struggle to prove it never happened. Maybe if Lowzeewee directed the thread into some line of discussion, things might have been different.

Dunno about color film in WW2, but History Channel over here has been using computer programs to colorize footage of WW1.

Yeah, they had color film in WWII. As '45 said, the History Channel has recolored some, but there's still a massive amount of footage originally in color.

In Czechoslovakia, first movies were colorized in 50s, and Barrandov studio was an old one. However, photographs were made in color since early 30s.
