An Older Game!

Does anyone remember playing or seeing the game called "Z"? It was an awesome game as I can remember. You play missions, and can get *factories* , *barracks* , and other things, it was awesome!

Yes of course, I still have it! You played the red robots and fought the blue robots and you had to capture reigons to win.

It was called Z: Steel Soldiers, it was OK but not as good as the original.

I wish I could play it again! My favorite part was the turrets!  :)

Was this a MS-DOS 50k install size game? The sort where the minimum specs were 60mhtz processor, and 500k of RAM?

I still have it. It had good graphics and some realy cool stuff. I got to as far as mission 11 and i thought it was realy hard. I liked snipers and medium tanks.. and jeeps hahah. It was a totally mad rushing game, that's for sure.

I remember the movies in the game were like near crap though. They were funny once. But they gotted repeated awfully lot. But the game was original to say the least.

Yes! Z was really good.

Pyros, Light Tanks and Howitzers were my preferred combination. But the APCs were the most fun.

i liked the jeeps a lot, shooting grunts out of tanks and taking them over. That rrrrrealy cool. Snipers were better at that job though. And yeah apc's were pretty awesome.

I remember that game.  It didn't really like it a whole lot, but I did like how you had to build a tank, then have a guy get in it to control it.
