I think its great. USA are good at containing diseases. Mad cow disease was prevented from spreading to other countries, so its no surprise Dune hasnt had much of an impact overseas. ;D

Did anyone get hold of that new short story yet? According to the website it should be in some paperback version of The Machine Crusade or something, which should be available now (since a few days).

EDIT: Wait, looks like it's on The Landsraad.
