How much longer is the directors cut?

What new scenes?

Is it going to be in theatres? or DVD?

Theaters.  Since hte trailer is up I'm guessing it did well enough in Seattle to warrent a wide release, my guess is in art house theaters.  Probably eventually end up on DVD.  Not sure how much longer.  All the deleted scenes ont he DVD are added, plus new soundtrack, new special effects, and a new scene to replace the [hide]end where the engine falls with all the voice overs saying things like "Cellar Door"[/hide]

I heard it's a great movie. But I dunno wether i'll like it. At least i didn't find the time/energy yet to go and buy it.

I heard it's some movie where the boy is having a shower in a motel then suddenly a huge bunny with a knife comes and stabs him ala Psycho-style, accompanied by Psycho's theme music too. 8) And the bunny pretends to be his dead mother too. :O

I've never seen Donnie Darko, but another day I was doing some shopping I noticed the video, and I think I should buy it because everybody thinks it's so good... but if this Directors cut is coming here I'll watch it instead. :L
