what game should I buy...

Hi everyone!

I'm new here... I'm enjoying the board so far. I recently became a fan of Frank Herbert's awesome books, and later saw the movie and miniseries. I have one Dune game, "Frank Herbert's Dune" by Dreamcatcher, which I thought wasn't very good... luckily I didn't pay very much for it.

Does anyone have a suggestion for the Dune game to buy... I don't know much about the other games! Please tell me which ones are worth playing.

Emperor is a must for dune games! Many will back me on that one....you should check that one out for sure.

It's a really great RPG/Adventure/Strategy game. Really good fun, despite its age. Top-notch!

Emperor is fantastic if you enjoy your RTS games, if not then steer clear.

Definately Cryos original Dune game, available at Home of the Underdogs in either the floppy disk version (~2MB) or the CD version with voices (~182mb).

wha? Are you people trying to scare him off? Dune may be good for it's time but if he thinks that is the farthest that dune games have developed he'll leave us cuz of disappointment.

I realy suggest Emperor if you system can run it. Otherwise Dune2000.

It's sad there aren't much Dune games, but we must admit that Emperor did the best advertise ment for Dune. So I suggest Emperor. Offcourse the old Dunes are great games , but it's year 2004..so...
