I don't know - but you might want to make your posts a little neater because I got lost a couple times. Why don't you ask Doc or Atomic - but other then that, I'm not quite sure.

thats when I found out why it was SOOO damn cheap...It had no operating sytem! :O

hmmm, i doubt having no operating system would make the computer automatically

You should be cautious though. With a new operating system like XP, a cut price version on ebay might be a bit suspicious.

as to Crusher, I highly doubt they were the most tech-savvy people around and did not realise how decent the comp was!

I usally try to but As I said earlier my comp is dead! the only way I can get on-line is at the library or school!

Yeah thats right I found a good use for that hour long study-hall! ;D

yeah.. it's not that i need help with it, it's more of getting ahold of it. I'm kinda strapped for cash at the moment (I'm restoring a 4x4) so I'm looking for a cheap copy of XP.

I do not know if you are still a student.  . .but there is a student version of Microsoft Windows which cost less then the reltail price in stores. Schools themself even buy Windows for round about 5 Euro's per computer. [ mine does anyway ]. And with the right connections in school you should be able to buy server versions for 1/4 of the price or get them free as in my case.

Anyway. .. buying them via school might be an option. If not, you could try a used version on ebay or something.

Ewwwww... Millenium was the 2nd worst operating system Microsoft came out with. Followed closely by Windows 95.

Im guessing you are a 98SE user? Or perhaps a 2000-er?
