$1000 HAIRCUT? KERRY FLIES IN HAIRDRESSER FOR TOUCH-UP BEFORE 'MEET THE PRESS'

**Exclusive**

On the Friday before his MEET THE PRESS appearance, Dem presidential hopeful John Kerry flew his Washington, DC hairdresser to Pittsburgh for a touch-up, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Cristophe stylist Isabelle Goetz, who handles Kerry's hair issues, made the trek to Pittsburgh, campaign sources reveal.

"Her entire schedule had to be rearranged," a top source explains.

A Kerry campaign spokesman refuses to clarify if Goetz flew by private jet on April 16 or on the official Kerry For President campaign plane.

The total expense for the hair touch-up is estimated to be more than $1000, insiders tell DRUDGE.

One source suggests the hairdresser was flown to Pittburgh on Teresa Heinz Kerry's 'Flying Squirrel', a Gulfstream V private jet.

[The 'Flying Squirrel' is worth about $35 million. A deluxe model; plasma TV, two bathrooms, fancy mahogany and burlwood paneling, gold-plated fixtures.]

"Senator Kerry thinks Isabelle does a superb job," a campaign source said.

Goetz grew up in a small town in eastern France. She also does Hillary Clinton's hair.

Your point? Besides, if you have money spend it. Also, appearence is a huge amount in the Presidental elections as Gore learned; take your ignorant-past-logic-Bush-fetish out of here.

Don't make him angry, Ghost...

Anyway, as long as Kerry doesn't try to pass himself off as the people's working-man poor-boy President, I don't really have a problem with it. Bush has a ranch, Kerry has a plane. Personally, I'd like the plane.

*gasp*

He's wealthy! Oh my goodness, no! How dare he try to run for elected office! No other Presidents in the history of the nation have ever been wealthy, right? Right!

What a stupid way to criticize the man.

Democrats are usually viewed as "for the poor people" and  Republicans are viewed as "Rich Greedy people"

I think Empworm is trying to show that it doesnt matter what you are.. republican or democrat.... both are rich and greedy.

;)

When it comes to fiscal policy, Democrats are for the poor people, and Republicans are for the rich people. (Generally speaking.) Those are the definitions of fiscal liberalism and conservatism.

Kerry is far wealthier than Bush.  Did I mention his 5 mansions at 33 million dollars?  Or his wife's half billion dollar empire?  He makes Bush look poor by comparison.  He is the wealthiest man in congress.  Rich, elite, white.

typical democrat leader  (dems are the richest people in congress)

I'm just glad that they're not my politicians. And that means both democrats and republicans. If I lived in the US I'd move to a country with a more sane political culture.

Agreed...although Teresa usually doesn't like to share her toys with her husband.

Or his wife's half billion dollar empire?
That she's been refusing to share, and keeps saying for people with thick skulls that her businesses are seperate from her husband's.

You know what guys?  Lets all base our votes on how much money the candidates makes, because it means something either way.  Yeah, that'll be a great use of our votes.

Bush doesn't even own a private jet, let alone a mansion

Although his Daddy bought him a big ranch in Texas and the use of Air Force One.  Plus, he never had to fight in 'Nam, 'cause his Daddy also bought him a nice post in the Air National Guard!  (That he didn't even have to show up for, to boot!)  Isn't George Sr. so giving?

There's a subtle difference here: Kerry earns his money, Bush steals his from the pockets of the poor.  (And from Daddy Bush, but, eh, because guess where HE got HIS money...)

I must agree that all politicians are pretty much sleaze.  Bush is just sleazier.

Well, remember how many economically underpriviliged folks got front-line duty in 'Nam because they weren't able to get posting elsewhere. When a man uses his money to avoid that sort of duty, is he stealing, in a way, from them?

Doesn't most of Kerry's money come from his wife? Who used to be married to the Heinz guy that died in a ?plane crash?... who was also a Republican senator?

Heh... indeed, Leto.

I'm glad to see that emprworm has given up trying to add a veneer of credibility to his right-wing nuttery, and has instead decided to move to a world of pretend. One where characteristics that nearly ALL politicians share are only bad for left-wing politicians. I wonder, can he fly when he thinks oppressive thoughts?

Posted

I know. Dan is just as intolerant as those he condemns for intolerance. He's the left-wing version of Emprworm, by his own standards. Funny, Dan, why is it that all politics that fit the category of "nuttery" are shared by right-wing politicians with you? Don't give me your token out-of-line Democrat as a counter-example, I know how you feel.
