Sadly it seems that all the Canadian teams always have to play each other at the first round.

Here are my picks for the first round:

-Sens in seven (if we can beat the leafs, we have an excellent chance at the cup).

-Boston (although I'm rooting for Montreal)

-Detroit (if Sens lose - which they won't - I'll be rooting for Detroit to go all the way)

-Dallas (Although I very much prefer the Avs)

-San Jos

Mikka had his shutout absolutely mugged from him in game 2 (ref must have been smoking crack), and game 1 was just playoff jitters.  He'll be a brick wall all playoffs.  Iggy will explode at home.  Flames took back home ice advantage in game two, look for a lot of orange when they get back to the 'Dome.

Ref's have been horrible in every game.  They're calling EVERYTHING.

Yeah they've been calling things very tight.  The league is probably worried that somebody will pull another Todd Bertuzi that would squash the playoff atmosphere.  They missed a brutal one in game two of the Flame-Canuck series though.  Kiprusoff was shoved to the ground and out of his crease leaving the net wide open for a Vancouver goal while a ref was standing RIGHT THERE but apparently it's "not his call to make."  >:(  Lazy bum...

BTW, seeing as how this is destined to be a Canadian-dominant thread, and for the purpose of keeping continuity, where's my flag at? :O

Although I'm cheering for Vancouver, and I'm fairly certain they'll win (even without Bertuzzi, they're the superior team here) I won't lose any sleep over Calgary winning.  They're a good team, and their entire arena turns red when they score.  ;)

That was a good game, but it ended pretty poorly.

Andrew, the company for whom I work got the contract for the Corel Centre back, but I don't check coats anymore.  We now patrol the area in front of the main gate, as there is now a "beer tent" and some other stuff there.  It's good for me, because the shifts now go from 1530 to 0100 (or at least 2200) the next morning.  It's a lot more worth my time, since I spend about five hours travelling to and from.
