ordos45 Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 So do a large amount of young Americans that age.
emprworm Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 so true...so true indeed. the worlds youth is a socialist cesspool. too bad. how did they end up so deviod of rational thought?
thomas Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 it's considered "cool" well I think so, most of the "anti-government" peeps are clueless to actual reasons that would make them feel this way.
Gobalopper Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Wasn't there a poll recently that said there were more 12-17 year old's supporting Bush then Kerry?
emprworm Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Wasn't there a poll recently that said there were more 12-17 year old's supporting Bush then Kerry?yes, i read that.
EWS Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 You are just going to become another Nav if you continue the way you do (by arguing that because we are "anti-bush" we cannot argue) well heres one for you. I actually support the guy, he made the right response to the events of September 11th.Now another thing, not once have I heard Bush being blamed for what happened in Spain (and I live in Europe and read the national newspapers everyday) infact, I am sure that I have seen some comments supporting Bush in those newspapers. Further, for all those who reckon it was Bush's problem, IT WASNT. The reason that Spain was attacked was due to their envolvement in the war, not becasue Buse attacked Iraq. Hence we see why France, Germany and all those other countries have been let off. Further, the next country most likely to be attacked will be Britain. Apart from Turkey, we are the only country left.Stop bringing Bush into everything. Threads that have no connection with him, you are arguing telling us that we cant argue due to us being anti-bush. Who cares if we are anti-bush, but rest assured, I am confident that the majority on here can argue a just point irrelevant on their feelings on bush. YOU are making him a scapegoat.
nemafakei Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Strangely enough, we're not keen on putting one man pretty much in control of Europe. People have tried it before, and it wasn't the opposition who were the racist ones...
emprworm Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 spain sold out. what a disgraceful country.Osama gave spain an order, and they complied. And did so scared. They backed down like the cowards they are
EWS Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Spain would have stopped no matter what Osama said. They had a change of command and that is what happens in change of commands.Further, just because someone doesn't like Bush doesnt mean that they argue everything to that effect. I know many people who like Bush but they don't argree with his foreign policy. What Emprworm is doing is claiming that someone cannot argue against America because they hate bush. Which is the same as someone telling me that I can't argue against Potatoes because I dont like potatoes.
Wolf Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Well, EWS, Aznar was ahead in polls before the bombing, so, had al Qaeda done nothing, it is very much likely that Aznar would be in power, and Spain would not be pulling out of Iraq. Yes, the new presidency would have probably pulled out no matter what, but it was unlikely that he would have won without the terrorist attacks to so damage Aznar's image.
emprworm Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Spain would have stopped no matter what Osama said.
nemafakei Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 "it is very much likely that Aznar would be in power"That very much depended on the minds of the 30 or so seats which went to minor parties such as the PNV and the Catalan parties (not including IU): PSOE didn't need to win outright, just to remove PP's majority. The PP may well have found itself without the majority it has enjoyed since the days of the UI being the sole countrywide left wing party. And it wasn't just the act of the bombimg, but also the fact that Aznar immediately pointed fingers at ETA - he was seen to have lied to a country two days before the election. Generally, that's not a turn-on.Plus, on a technicality, Aznar was not intending to go for a third parliament - he was stepping aside.
EWS Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 How can you call them cowards? Just like with you and America, each country has a choice whether they want to engage in the war or not, France didn't Germany didn't. Do you call these countries cowards? What about America? Was America a coward when it pulled out of Vietnam?
emprworm Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 because they run in fear from Al-Qaida. They dont want to be attacked again, so they pull out. Terrorists beat Spain last week. Spain bent their knees
Timenn Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 emprworm, quit talking nonsense.I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't even know where Spain lies...Many people, some who even where in the train which got bombed, took the train "just like normal" a few days later. Can't say that of your
Edric O Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Really? Is this a picture of people on their knees?Your contempt for the will of the people is disgusting, Emprworm. The criminal government of Aznar and his filthy conservative buddies was kicked out of office by the rage of the Spanish people who stood up and let their voices be heard.Unlike you and your fellow flag-waving American conservatives who grovel at Bush's feet like dogs, the Spaniards actually have the backbone to stand up to their government.ZAPATERO PRESIDENT
emprworm Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 funny that 3 days ago terrorist made a truce with spain. Spain complied to terrorists will, and terrorists make truce. I hope Spain feels 'safer' now that they sold out. Hey, must be a great thing to make a truce with a terrorist group. Feel honorable Spaniards! Feel proud! Hold your head high!
Edric O Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 And does this "truce" exist anywhere outside your obviously diseased mind, Emprworm? The Spaniards made no truce with anyone. In fact, they just declared war to conservativism and its murderous policies. On the other side of the Atlantic, Emprworm and others like him are proud to be their government's obedient little sheep.
Timenn Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 So now we lost Spain to the terrorists?Shouldn't you invade Spain now, and kill thousands of people, to scare away the new leader, who deals with terrorists?Thank you emprworm, this was just what I needed before sleeping time...
Edric O Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Perhaps the USA should invade and occupy every country on Earth, just in case its people might decide to vote for a government that deals with terrorists. After all, Big Brother... err, I mean the US government... always knows best. Who needs democracy? ::)
emprworm Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 And does this "truce" exist anywhere outside your obviously diseased mind, Emprworm? The Spaniards made no truce with anyone. In fact, they just declared war to conservativism and its murderous policies. On the other side of the Atlantic, Emprworm and others like him are proud to be their government's obedient little sheep.terrorists offer truce in response to spains capitulation. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040318/ap_on_re_eu/egypt_spain_al_qaida_7hey! I've been working on the lyrics for a new National ANthem for Spain. I can hear it now...all the Spaniards singing in harmony:oh osama. My master. What say ye? What is your command? Should we pull out all troops? If we do this, will you promise not to attack us? Oh mighty Osama. Please dont hurt us. We will do whatever you like. I know that when you kill, its not your fault. Its always Bush's fault. So you can go ahead, Mighty Osama, and keep killing, and we will never blame you. Oh, Master Osama, please tell us, what should we do next?
Edric O Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 LOL, so a guy calls in, claiming he represents Al-Qaeda, and offers a "truce". Hell, I could do that... Or for that matter, anyone could call in and say anything in Al-Qaeda's name!I wouldn't be surprised if it's a member of the PP trying to make the new government look bad...As for your anthem, try to remember that verses are supposed to have a little thing called rhyme...
