What do you mean "beelive"?  We don't believe.  We know.

I say we put a bomb on the next one and set it to detonate if anything happens to it. That'l teach those Martians not to play with our $130 million toys.

Of course, the result may be the Martians sticking some dynamite up Farmer Joes butt the next time they anal probe him, but they will respect us more.

The problem is that if detonates it would affect the "landscape" (only rocks) and why would NASA destroy their own probes, if they can recover them in the future (or take from the martians)?

I f we lost contact with the probes now, imagine if we would have already sent a human mission to mars. They wold be lost in mars.

They can't pick them up, the Martians have them!  The bombs are there to take out the Martians when they go to shut down the probe, not to blow up rocks.

We'd still lose the probe, but we'd take some of those damn, dirty Martians with it!

It could also be that maybe the Martians found the Spirit Rover hijacked it so they can finally receive Earth's satellite cable stations using NASA's technology.

It's a good thing they don't know exactly what went wrong with Spirit (other than a possible software glitch)

Cause Opportunity is an exact double of spirit, which means it will have the same problems. wow they are smart. ::)

Maybe there are no martians on the other side of Mars.

Well whatever the problem is NASA will have another opportunity to raise the Mars rover Spirit.

I find funny the songs that are choosen to "wake up" the rovers, such as the song "I like dirt" a few days ago....

I did not know they used the Red Hot Chilli Peppers song "I Like Dirt". I guess the guys at NASA are not as geeky as you would think.

Yes Sprirt is working once again there was a problem with flash memory NASA had to reformat it or adjust the self-thinking process of Sprirt.
