I've been playing emperor for a long time now, i'm not going to mention names, but i played this one kid on these sett's-Fishers, 10k nothing else. I deployed then made a refinery, after i placed the refinery i started to make a factory. when i started making the factory i was rushed with drones. is this possible to do? i didnt even place my second structure and i got rushed with drones. How could he do this? >:(

So, your BO was:

Windtrap (225)

Refinery (1500)

Factory (1000)

EDIT: Since you started with just your MCV, you have to have placed a windtrap before you started construction on the Refinery, which means that you placed two structures, and were building your third before you were rushed with drones.

Deployed then windtrap-refinery and then i got rushed befor my factory was even done building

For drones, he woulda had to deploy then windtrap-factory-hanger.

Yes it is , how many drones did he rush you with ?

He probably did this: Deployed MCV, WT,fac,hangar,ref,

so as you were building your fac he had maybe 3 drones.

Did you also deploy your barracks ?

I just want to see if the timing is possible by testing it out in the game, without looking up stats.

Windtrap

Factory

Hanger - drones

Darkrul3r said he was rushed when his fac was half built. If I remember right, my hanger was just built when he said that, and I hadn't even started production on my drone yet.

By the time I got down to his base with my one drone, I saw a refinery, barracks, and factory, along with lots of units.

I don't see how the drone rush was possible at that speed, as this was the fastest way to acquire drones.

If it was a 4 player game, maybe his partner gave him his con yard temporarily, then it would build 150% faster , wouldn't it ?

If it was a 2 vs 2, it is possible that his partner gave him his conyard after he built a windtrap and barracks. This is the most likely case, since if you give someone your construction yard at the start of the game, you'll be eliminated. ::)

If you have a windtrap, and no refineries or production facilities, and you transfer control of your construction yard, you will be eliminated.

This seems to be the in tactic at moment for atr rush with one or two drone to stop produiction of spice early. It is amasing how fast some players can do this. ;)

If you want a laugh Leo, create a triangle way point with 6 scouts, and put it near an Ordos base, watch the Ordos Chem Troopers running around after them, that is really funny to watch. ;D

LOL I'll do that, tho' its not very funny when instead of ordos u face atreides. the poor scouts will have to run from bullets. :-[

Group each one of them and make them go around in waypoint-mode then put 1 atriedes sniper in the middle and just wait till only 1 scout is left,then see who is the winner! :O :D

Or make 20 saboteurs and put them in a line then kill the first 1 with a sniper and u get a domino effect, its really fun to c.
