hould ther be any more Dune strategy games???

Is Emperor the last in the line of dune Strategy games, or is it just the first in a long line of more advanced types of futuristic strategy game?

Well since Westwood has said they will not do another Dune game it's safe to say now that Emperor will be first and last of it's kind. Westwood has even said they are not planning on using the engine that they used for Emperor.

Well Dune Generations are going to be released sometime this year, but it's an online RTS, still I believe it's gonna be a very good game with lots of intreques and wheels within wheels within wheels. It's gonna be a more accurate Dune game in my opinion.

Here's the recipe:

1. MANY subhouses (Richeese, Moritani, Guild so that you can actually ally with it, Bene Gesserit...).

2. More cutscenes and missions that can't be avoided (Heighliner...).

3. More units.

I want another company (not Westwood, in other words) to make the next Dune strategy game. The Westwood style of making strategy games just doesn't fit Dune, don't you agree?

And maybe be able to actually choose your allies. On E:BFD, you always end up with the same three. There is really no way to change it.

if blizzard made the next dune rts i bet it would be great.... though it would be more close to the original books probably... so more knife fighting and no vehicels

but i don't think blizzard is interested in making a game in a story not made by themselves
