Guild NIAB tanks

What would be the best way to defend a base against the Guilds Niab tanks, They seem to start attacking only a few minutes into a multiplayer game. 8)

put units all over your base and put defences everywhere so you get them when they move in. Mongooses, Cobras, Minotauruses etc are good defence 8)

Turrets are a good option, but even better are kindjal/(AA) troopers spread trough your base. 5/10 on each empty space in your base...

fedaykin in combination with aa troopers/troopers/kindjal.

only the atreides wil not have an extra aa defence.

But AirDrones are quickly build and a good AA defense. Mongooses are to weak for NIAB, and they are more expensive then kindjal...

The building time is more important, and you build too slow to spread fedaykin trough your whole base...

wel... if he has an whole hord of niab tanks then what do you have to counter that?

if you don't have enough money then try saving money to build/upgrade an rifinerie.

By the that time you must have plenty of defense in your base as well

Best Anti-NIAB units.

Atreides: Kindjal, mongoose.

Harkonnen: Assault tank, missile tank, devastator, trooper.

Ordos: AA, laser tank, deviator ;), kobra, apc.

Fremen: Fed.

Sardaukar: Both.

Tleilaxu: Leech.

Ix: Projectors ???

Guild:  ???

When the enemy has NIAB, project them... And hunt some harvesters...

NIABs is good for "they suspect nothing" attack

light infantrie = ineffective against niab.

chemical trooper = ineffective against niab.

sniper = ineffective against niab

you get the idea? ;)

Alot of the Slow verhicles in example Mongooses Assault tank. Mino etc etc is useless against NIAB. They can hardly hit him, Even if they did. He just regenerates and NIAB is more faster then a Las tank.

I have never had this problem with Niab's, but I suggest keeping a careful eye on your radar screen.

Well, I destroyed alot of Verhicle's and buildings with the NIAB's , If you got three NIABS that has 3 veterancy bar's, They are almost the ultimate battle weapon.

What happens at level three for Niabs

They become elite :D

Everything increases. Power speed recharge rate.

I think, The Beautifull part is they are hard to kill when becoming elite :)
