The design docs are just that docs, you would need source code to change things like how waypoints and such. And that is something I highly doubt will ever happen no matter how many people want it.

A lot of the bugs were probably already known but during production would either have taken too long to fix or they felt didn't need to be fixed. Its not as easy as changing a couple lines of code and the bug is gone, it would take a couple weeks and since both companies are working on other games now I doubt they have that time to spare.

Perhaps though, they might listen if there was a formal business proposal presented to them.   Unfortunately, I personally don't have the corporate know-how to put together something like that, but I wonder if they might start listening if someone did.

Even if the bugs that stop you from being able to select your ADV Carryalls for no reason don't kick in and you are miraculously able to select a group of ADV Carryalls which are holding vehicles, when you click on a spot to deploy these ADV Carryalls, chances are that due to MORE BUGS, nothing will happen.

the reason they don't all drop when u go to deploy is coz they all try to move to the same spot and can't fly through each other to "set down"

as u point out using J (formation move) should stop this problem (if u picked up things with spaces in between them) an EVEN better way to do this is to send them past where u want them to go and press S (stop) when they get there they should not have bunched at all

if they have at all just selcet them press X (scatter) then D (deploy) if for any reason any of them do still not "set down" simply press X again and then D again (this is extremely easy and quick to do if u have numbered ur carrys when u set them off in the 1st place) unless u are the unluckyest person in the universe with 8 full carrys u should never need to press it more than 3 times (i have had to do it 4 times with 20 full)

the easyest way though is to just make sure they are spaced as u pick them up..

hope this helps it has ALLWAYS worked for me

yeah i just found out aboot the D button setting them down last nite and haven't had any problems since then (spacing is a major part of it).

i was wonder what sparked ur remark Und...  then i went back a page and couldn't stop laughing ;D ;D i made a somewhat slight harsher remark but along the very same lines in the WW forums and it got clipped before it was read ;D

I agree its the same for everyone!  just play the game or move on to one that hasn't been abandoned and complain to them aboot changing it to meet ur needs ::)

Emprworm, facts can be subject to selective reporting - eg only the ones which fit the category of [ nav's kill count is lower than his opponents ]. Have you collated every game he talks of?

Were these his most recent games, ignoring none?

The harvesting bugs are much more prevalent for QM players because they have to play on and get exposure to almost all of the maps.

People who only play on Skirmish or BC games usually only play 4 or 5 different maps on a regular basis, so they don't understand nearly as well.

    Nav, if it wasn't  for those bugs you'd probably be atr champion and maybe even top place overall.  I am sure I would have gotten 1st place at least a couple months if WestWood would have removed the ordos rush.  I personally wrote WestWood requesting they remove the laser tank and AA trooper from the game (I know you would agree with that second one).  I have also considered asking them to remove the buzzsaw, just in case I come across a hark player who uses them.  Oh well, Nav, we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

Note to everyone else: The above statement may contain sarcasm.  Please pick up on it at the appropriate points. :P

undsputed i totally see where ur coming from coz i never play qm and have never beaten just about all the really good hark and ordos players and coz i duck a lot  and allways "map quit" i think i too would be in the top 5 all the time if it wasn't for all theese bugs in the game that are so unbalanced to ATR players it is a good job i don't play every single one of my games as atr really

again theese bugs have really effected me too and my poor terrible record of about 1 loss in 6 to top players surely bears this out IM WITH U ON THIS lets lobby ww and hope and pray that they take pity on our poor souls

again i hope u can spot the sarcasm here (if u can't just reverse the whole of  the above :P)

what the hell is the air drone bug

is that the one where if you tell an A-D to attack something right before it is destroyed it can hit any ubit on the map or something else?

I just went to emprworm's site for the first time today, and no air drone bug listed.  I don't think one exists.  It just gives your Air Drones a tiny bit of more cover for a few seconds, hardly a bug.

thats coz emp toke it off u fool coz its a cheat its where u can move ur drones round the map and they fire but are invincable  a tiny bit more cover??? lmao ::)

air drone bug???

I have a new idea.  Let's ask WestWood to remove all units from the game except infantry.  That would eliminate all the unfair advantages with air drones and laser tanks and dust scouts.

NOTE: (again, the above is meant to be taken seriously only by NavarosX...all other normal players may ignore it)
