OMG, Gary Coleman, the only possible explanation I can think of is that he's gone broke (again) and looks forward the faster way to get some income back......just a few months ago he was auctioning a date with himself....

I think that was for charity, Zamboe. At least, I HOPE that was for charity. I heard he was working as a security guard or something before this happened. Who would buy a date with Gary Coleman anyway? ??? You could just trap him in a potato sack...

I am sure that it wasn't for charity. He needed to pay his bills and his manager had left him long time ago, so he auctioned a date with himself, and sourprisingly someone bought it :O..... it's US anything can happen, including that.... ::)

Hmmm... native american doesen't mean er... indian? (well... amerindian)

And I think that actors shouldn't get into politics. It's stupid! It's dirty! It's politics!

he should atleast beat out that one actor from that crapy 80's sitcom..

Coleman is running as a political statement. He has no intention of actually running to win. He's doing as a way of showing how ridiculous the whole issue is. It's a joke.

Arnold is a "moderate" Republican. This equates to being something more like the liberatarians claim to be. His Republicanism has to do with fiscal conservatism. Socially, he's quite liberal.

If I had to lay a bet on it, I would place my money on Arnold. He's got the most fame, which translates to the broadest range of appeal. He will appeal to the Democats becasue he is socially liberal, but to the rich republicans because he has so much money himself. The ultra-conservatives won't like him becasue he isn't a bigot, but they are insignificant.

He isn't impressing me with his Davis bashing. Davis isn't doing "bad", he just isn't doing what some want. No one person can control an economy, but that is what they are calling him out on.

With today's populations, the requirment for getting a recall vote such as this is very narrow. It sets a prescedent that if you loose an election, you can get your constiuents to sign the recall voucher and keep the office tied up. 100,000 sigantures in a city of several million is nothing. It should be population percentage based.

Oddly enough, he isn't the worst choice available/ The guy is in all actuality pretty damn smart. Through real estate deals and smart investments, he was a multi-millionaire before he even started appearing in movies. And yes, he did hold a government position as head of fitness or something, and travelled the country at his own expense doing that job.

However, I really think he'd be way over his head if he did get elected.

Anyone else notice he's stealing campaing slogans from sitcoms?

"Jimmy James: So rich he can't be bribed!"

"Arnold: He's already got enough money, you can't buy him off!" Or something like that. He says it in his every speech.
