I agree with ILA (I love Anna) {sry, i didn't feel like writing your name, so from now on i will refer you to that} Any way; "tricks" are nothing more than lazyness and a waste of time. "tricks" are not strategy. If you want to win AND gain some respect online, don't mention or use tricks EVER. Thank You

Wow, I should really keep up with my own post. OK, time to defend my self. Leech will work, even if it dies. You pay 300 solaris for a Leech Opponent pays 2000 solaris for a Niab Tank The Leech being a relativly fats unit runs and puts a Leech on the Niab Tank. Opponent can fold space all they want but, unless he folds space back on home, he will soon become one of yours. Secondly, Maker: Maker as we all know is a discusting worm that LOOKs likt it has no clear reason to be on Arakis. But as always, the right tools for the right job. Makers will eat infantry for breafast again and again. Now again lets look at it this way... Maker shoots the "Maker Beam" killing up to 6 infantry ranging from $50 all the way up to $300. You pay 1000 solaris. Enemy pays anywhere from $300-$1800. So even if it is a relativly weak unit, the enconomy factor is something to think about.

best niab counter, LEECH fast, and niabs can't hit it. Also Leech affect does considerable damage! Once again, Tlielaxu are Superior.
-
PilaKyifa! Fremen, I hate the Fremen, but very good agaisnt Guild. But once again, Tlielaxu rule over all. Eric O, I was crying when i had to kill them in the "Save The Exicutix" mission.
-
Ya i hate when weaklings use one unit or superweapons only to win!
-
hahahahahahaha, i like that VIG, your a nice guy, ya you can ask around. I know my stuff. and we did play together. The time you me and peter whoop the stuffing out of a newb, while ago. And back to the topic; maker is beter then Niab tank.
-
I hope your not calling me a newb. ask Vig and no matter what you say, i still won't use the Guild. Tleilaxu Forever!
-
Yes they are Vig

Contaminators and Leeches, all the way.

Hey, sry I havn't been posting for a while but I have been gone. I think this is a big thing to talk about. Does anyone realize how crappy that Niab Tank is. Now I know my game doesn't lag to much but after folding space to warp to any place on the map; it takes about 10 seconds to get it up and moving agian. Now in dune that is a long time. Too Long! They are a cool little toy to play with but unless you really like ugly worms and teleporting I don't think guild is the way to go.

new topic about how to stop mass leech attacks
Barron replied to atrd3m0n's topic in Emperor Strategy
hahahaha, I think it's funny, you think you can stop a leech attack. You might but unless you have a billion engineers and repair vehicles in a matter of minutes you will be no more. Did you guys forget about contaminators, say goodbye to all infantry. Leaving no room for leech killers. Plus the Leech in the spice fields couldn't be better. Barron Harkonnen -
Hahaha, I have and always will Agree with Tleilaxu Fanatic, Tleilaxu are the way to go. I don't care what you say, or even what you have. March 100 Contaminators into a Building rock and look what happens, soon you have 150 contaminators. Leech, Leech, I have nothing else to say. Use these great creations to run all over Minos and Kobras because they are to quick to get hit and soon a little nasty Leech will be attached to every Mino/Kobra. I don't think there a player out there who can get them all off with out loosing half. Also I better take this oppertunity to say, I'm getting real sick of this Sard/Freman crap. Every time I play online, it's the only houses I see. GET A NEW HOUSE. Or give me a strategy aganist them. Barron Harkonnen, Forever in alliance with the Tleilaxu of Bene Tleilaxu

I disagree, I will always pick the tleilaxu and yes that is how to spell it, bc of the Leech. once you get a bunch storm there base and quickly place as many larva as you can, thus making him micomanage all the faster to get them off. Soon your Leech will die, very sad :'( and then you mush rush their base with a full frontal attack. so even if you loose you are about to get a bunch more Leeches to make him more frustrated. Barron

So there won't be another emperor?
-
if so i don't know it
-
I personally dislike they way carryalls are set up. Their job is to pick up the harvester when in any danger. Well that's great but they end up setting them right back down again. So when people put units in my spice fields I expect my harvester to return with what ever spice it has and go to another. But No, Carryalls pick it up and set it right nice to the bad guys. Say your enemy put infantry in the field, wouldn't you think to just run them over? I would and when I try, the Damn Carryall picks him up just to go 5 feet! This is an out rage! Barron Harkonnen

Contaminator, you may not think so but, take one contaminator and hit a scout one time. Now you have two, then hunt for another scout and now you have three and so on until you get many contaminators. Suddenly you will see that they are not that bad of a race. Leech arn't that bad either and always shoot for a harvester. Makes thinks a bit more hectic for him. So I will always side with the Tleilaxu and not what every one else does and pick Fremen and Sardukar. Barron Harkonnen

Here is a strategy that sometimes works if your opponent is slow. Move pack up your construction yard and move, to a rock with only one ramp, making it move defendable, thus, using less units for defence. But before you go build a windtrap so if you get in the shiznit or get pressed for space you can build from your original rock. It worked for me once. And People stop talking about Sards and Fremen. Ya we know they are good. But come on! Try something new. Barron
-
Hahaha, you fools. You talk of Infantry and Laser Tanks. But you forget one of the most important type of units in the. AIR! There is nothing that Ordos have that would stop five Gunships. Ya they have AA troopers and a bunch of crap like that. But before you kill one gunship, you C-yard is gone, and if your opponent is smart, the next target is the Factory so you can make another. Just like that my friends, the game is won.

What subhouse do you like the most and find the most usefull?
Barron replied to Lumbyjack's topic in Emperor Strategy
Hahahaha. I retract my Ixian statment. I just found out the pure worth of the projector tank. You can make clones, for free, AND have them fight for you. Very nice. But I stick by contaminators, I'll send them after helpless scouts and there is a 150 unit that was made for 30. And my theory with them is in the mass'. 20 contaminators will, Will take out a team of Sardukar or Fremen. But will only loose maybe 4-5. But the Sadukar Eliet, they are a different story. I will tip my Hat to those guys. They take the punishment, AND have a knife. So we might loose a little more if you have a couple of those in there. Barron Harkonnen -

Barron replied to Lumbyjack's topic in Emperor Strategy
Well getting back to the topic. Nobody has mentioned Ix or Tleilaxu. I don't think to highly of the Ixian's but I respect their worthless units. If you disagree leave me a message and I'll prove to you they are not good. But Tleilaxu are. Ya you may be laughin at me now. But when you look at is I don't care if you are Freman or Sadukar. Soon you'll all become Contaminators and it won't matter. Just one Hit, and <piff> (I like that sound effect) and you one of mine. So try them and if you have the Harkonnen Campaign trade with them it's very wise. <Spit> Barron -
Ya i agree and good job big T, some times, no, all the time, mass' rule. Even weak light inf. will work. If you have enough. Building 10-15 is cheaper than a flame tank or buzz saw. Think about it.
-
I like contaminators, yes i admit the are hard to use, but if you take about 5-10 and rush a small infatry heard, your numbers grow faster than your casualties. Barron

The bomb is the sandcrawler right?
-
Hey, i'm on the mission where you and the Ix are in allience, and you must deliver supplies to their house. you must do this 3 times. The third supply truck is a bomb. You are to defuse it before it gets to the Ix lab. My question is how do you defuse it? I tried an enginier but i don't know how or what to to. Please help. Barron
