I think genes of Paul and Jessica would be quickly stored by Tleilax. Maybe on the order of Bene Gesserit, don't forget Helena Mohiam worked for emperor himself. Shaddam wasn't bad emperor, his plans in Dune are very well organized (not like in prequels, where he played with full idiocy...), attack against Atreides could be considered as Harkonnen aggression, where Shaddam would be able to retaliate his cousin lawfully, if Harkonnens would stop obey him. Attacks were done by his own Sardaukar forces, which wouldn't blame him. And if baron would blame him? No one would believe him.

One of the Bene Gesserit breeding programs would have finished. They had plenty of others, including several potential Kwisatz Haderachs.

Nonetheless; I believe that the rule of Hopuse Corrino would fall, House Harkonnen would take over. Whether the Bene Gesserit would turn up with another Kwisatz Haderach is immaterial. Even if they did, it would most likely be several centuries afterwards. If they did, he'd probably rule the Imperium for them.

And as for the Tleilaxu... I don't think they'd find the bodies, let alone be able to do anything with them.

We have technology of year 10191, if they would crash, the plane will send some emergency signal. If Tleilax was able to get Duncan's body from Sardaukars, they would be able to find one wreck in the middle of desert too.

the BG breeding programme still continued. What they aimed for I do not know. However I disagree that eventually the BGs would have ruled the world eventually if their first KH had died cause maybe they might never have been able to control their messiah in any incarnation.

Maybe a small fremen rising might have happened ias word had already begun to spread about paul. quickly put down by harkonnen. kind of an aside really!

Perhaps the baron would have attacked shaddam with harkonnen soldiers disguised as sardaukar!

and there was no problem to find duncans body among sardaukars, cos they probably gave it to the tleilaxu. But maybe fremen would have found the bodies in the orni before others, and made water out of them.

He had plans, but he didn't expect he himself would sit on the throne, but someday a Harkonnen would.

I beleive you are right, although I think he was more preparing Feyd for taking over Arrakis [from Rabban]. Eventually Feyd would have all the power.

Feyd was only being groomed for Arrakis. I think the Baron wanted him there just so he could get more spice and increase his house's strength, maybe preparing for a revolution. Once the Golden Lion Throne was his, Feyd would kill the Baron, and be emperor. And his daughter would be fitted in, somehow I'm not sure tho.

Caid, I was talking about the BGs breeding programme AFTER Paul. The experience of being relatively powerless under Paul and seriously powerless under Leto II put them off the idea of a KH.
