Could anyone please tell me, why does this game (battles) lag on my pc?

My pc's:

Athlon Thunderbird 1,1 GHz

396 DIMM RAM

GeForce 2 MX 440 32MB :-

i think it's your graphix card, but keep in mind that the game has high system requirements

also one thing you should know as that applies on my machine

set sound quality to medium because when it's on high, all battles are VERY slow, it's a bug i think

I got the same card and it runs fine, though I never played it online. It may be your connection.

your graphics card is crap. as are all MX chipsets. MX is an Acronym. it stands for Horse Crap.

don't buy any GPU with the letters "MX" in it, ever.

What combination of memory modules yield 396MB of RAM?

The closest I can think of is 255MB + 128MB = 383MB RAM.

MX is a cheap version of GeForce 2. It has no DDR-RAM, and lower performance.

The better version is called TI, and, like the MX, it has a number after it specifying which model it is(the higher the number, the better the card is)

but i thought it was the geforce 4 MX 440, not the GF2 MX 440

but try that sound settings problem it might be the cause
