Need a new eight speaker, two-three sub sound system. Getting a Audigy 2 and I need to bring it out, if you could find links or have ideas help would be appreciated.

buying PC speakers is stupid.

connect your PC direcly to your home stereo system. that way you can blast it, you'll still get better sound quality than with PC Speakers (presuming your home stereo doesn't royally suck), and it'll only cost you about $20 for the cable rather than several hundred dollars for good PC speakers

paying for PC Speakers is like buying Bottled Water - an unnecessary waste of good money

Well if you don't have a fancy home stereo system, then PC speakers are a good option. I use my PC as a stereo. I have a nice set of Klipsch speakers and it sounds awesome when playing games.

well i had 320 buck speakers at my dads, but those sucked.....at home i have had the same pair of 40 doller speakers for the past 3 years played them at max levels a bunch of time and they havnt blew or anything. I dont see what the big deal....

To move the stero system into position in front of the computer or vice versa might be annoying, though.

I suppose none here use their tv as computermonitor?(the concept is cool, but the fact that you need to run at 640*480 in your tv is not so cool)
