DukeLeto
Yep, that's right, I have turned in the first E:BFD report ever at the most prestigious BR site out there, BattleReports.com.Go and view it here.I hope to see some of you submitting some!Note: Some of the language is kinda harsh, at least by my standards, especially that screenie. Hide the 6-year-olds. ;)(Oh and Ken, there's a link to your Newbie Guide in it!)

DukeLeto
The main point is to learn from the experiences of others to better improve you skills...And sometimes they're funny, too. ;)
WhiteShadow
Hi All !I hate to say this, but I already posted a "battle report" on HTML, during the Fed2k Landsraad Tournament, which can be seen on http://www.dcc.fc.up.pt/~pribeiro/ebfd/. This was on January 26th, and I posted it here on the forum. And I'm pretty sure that lots of other people had already done things like that before me (I remember seeing some "illustrated stories" about battles on some clan sites).Bottom line, no this is not the FIRST battle report made about E:BFD (ok, maybe the first one on battlereports.com).Anyway, it's nice to see this kind of story, so, thanks, DukeLeto! :-)
Navaros
this is not the first battle reportsome players have posted many extraordinary true stories of their greatness long before the idea of a battle report ever entered your headhere's a good battle report:http://www.dune2k.com/forum/?board=7;action=display;threadid=3235;start=0how about another? and there's a pretty informative battle report in this thread too.http://www.dune2k.com/forum/?board=17;action=display;threadid=6096;start=
XCH
That sounded like a very boring battle.
Exo Etherial
Uhm, I just read this, and during my short career in Multi-play (ExoEth, maybe you've seen me), I trounce Harko's with Ordos every single time. Assault tanks fall like flies to the quick manuvers, and troopers are flattened in just a few seconds with Dust scouts. On a positive note, good adivce on the attrition. Putting out a few AA-capable units onto the spice fields early on (if JUST to kill the carryalls) can spell early doom, even for mega-money games.Though Sir-Cursealot was really wasting his money with EITSs. You use them more for psychological tactics, and as very, very, very, very , very nasty, sneaky, EVIL ways to kill off scores of smaller buildings (idealy AFTER base power has been cut; AFTER the loss of 2-out-of-every-3 harvestors brutally choking off their fundage; and AFTER all and any Elite Sards/Troopers/AATroops/Mongooses are slautered without mercy) once the proper steps ( ;D )have been taken. NEVER as the main attack force, and MAYBE after a (moderately successful, in that they killed EVERYthing moving) thwarted main-attack. But only then to seriously damage the power grids, buying you a bit of time to muster more troops... Or pave the way for either Infiltrator frustraions, Sardy mop-ups, or Feyd sabotage.P.S: Sorry to sound liek a vindictive jack-[bloop!] but you said something not-good about my favorite house. Glad for the objective, non-biased rating. ::)
