So what do you all think about the Beta Test being 300+mbs and downloadable?

300MB That is alot of space on your hard drive but I would be interested although I have never beta tested before. Could you use an external hard drive instead of your internal hard drive and beta test like that?

I'll be able to get it and it should only take me an hour using my cable. Any chance to play this game will be worth it...

I could probably download it, takes about 10 days if I use Getright.

Keep in mind you actually have to be accepted into the beta first. Which means you have to sign up for it as well. :)

It will take me about 1-2 hours with my DSL. :P but I am more excited about  getting accepted for the Warcraft3 bets testing. :D

you get chosen for the duneg and probaly the dl will be hyperlinked to the e-mail

and war3 signups were at  the blizzard site but they are over and the sign ups lasted a week but I still managed to sign up

I think it would be a waste of your time to download the game if you have a 56k modem. From my understanding this game is on the internet so you would just lag the hell out of an already incomplete server.

Before saying about 56k making more problems for the server, you might want to check that this is a beta test the ideal of it is to test out the game on as many platforms, operating systesm and internet  connections as possible to correct any bugs,

if no one with 56k modems enter the beta's then the game will be restricted to cable/dsl only,

does anyone apart from me think that would be one of the last things the development team would do?

The dev team would be shooting itself in the foot if they restricted the game to cable/dsl.

As I've said on the DG forums, I don't believe internet gaming should be for the elite of this world only.

I would have to agree limiting themselves to dsl and cable is really doing themselves no justice. The complete internet market is not comprised of just dsl and cable users.

you should rather stand together from what I hear alot of guilds has been formed. ;D

I think the guild will be like "Death from above" or "War Hawks". tell me whuch name you want of the 2 or tell me your own.
