Rants Against Emprworm Thread

empr proves everybodies point. As a matter of fact. I think empr has done something amazingly good. He has brought people who usually dont talk, to be good friends for one purpose. THanks empr for that.

anytime. but i dont think it really takes much effort to get anti-Bush people together as friends. ALl you gotta do is say "I like United States of America President George Bush" and mission accomplished.

I believe that Emprworm is only slightly in the wrong. War-mongering and hypocracy aside, his fault (!) seems to be an over-zealous support for his government. The primary problem lies in his inability to admit to all the others, and twisting of the words. That and the constant, LOL! 's, they make it seem like you're laughing at us rather than taking our replies seriously.

Slightly aside to Emprworm, now that I think about it, most of the above traits apply to me while I'm arguing. How about you and I have a thread to ourselves for an argument? Not about anything to do with the war/s though. How about 'old' politics? Imperialism vs Socialism. How about it?

I would like to tell you that I am totally with you Emprworm and I know how you feel as I can say that Iv'e had something similar to these experience myself (Having spent most of my life in South Africka, A country that appears to be totally full of hypocritics,short-sighted people,simpletons, people who hate things with no reason or what so ever or have a very weak reason, e.t.c)

Let's team up against these Euro Natzis! j/k j/k j/k j/k (ie: a joke. ie: not to be taken seriously ie: not to be used in a qoute e.t.c)

One thing though... I understand you should research an argument and it's back ground before debating, but I am far to lazy to ever make such a commitment to anything. It takes all my energy and alot of effort just to wake up in the morning, nevermind going and researching something...

Think some members here are also expecting me to post an reaction here.

A lot of things I would have want to say have already been mentioned by others.

One of the main things I would like to comment to is the way you have made your own in debating. Instead of looking at who you're talking to you attack them with amounts of facts or personall experiances they can not handle or are not capable of placing in the right context.

[ that is not a lack on your side, just a failure in judging the capabileties of the persone you're talking to ]

As an example, a lot of people are stating that you are not listening to there positions, not accepting what they think is right.

And just as with this topic you've started [ in my opinion just to give other people the change to attack you so you can talk your way out of it, showinoff how good you are that even when people can attack you, they fail to do so ], in which you ask people to rant against emprworm [ I take it the thread is refering to this thread so we are supposed to rant against you and not against the threads you have made ] but then when poeple do so, you say they are wrong. That you're not like that, not debating like that and so on. I'm not saying you are. But it's the example I wanted to make. They say you are, which means you give them that impression. And if you like that or not, even if it's true or not. That's how they encounter you on this forum. It's not you place [ especially not in this thread ] to defend that position and say they are wrong.

They could have missinterpreted what you mean.

As a second point, there is they way you comment in some cases. You tend to deside to give a non-serious reply or an well thought of, let's call it empirical reply. At some point you seem to be using this to maneuvering yourself out of the heath of the relating post.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying you should change the way you are debating. Not that I don't agree with you personally or formally in any topic or with any idea you mentioned on these forums. As they are yours they are true for that matter, they are just not mine. And the way you choose to debate, is one I don't like and don't attend to if I have the change.

Think you would agree, that with just the few comments I have posted the last months in the debate topics. Our relationship is doing way better then when you just became a member here. ;D ;)

But don't get you're hopes up, that doesn't mean I like the way you're debating or think the positions in those threads are correct .. . but then why should anyone care about that ... .. ;)
