the landscapes can be for anything...(read disclaimer at their site) im just making some for fun. hope to incorporate some in with my Sedermia map. and if by popular demand i can post the sedermai map(with or without boundary lines for risk style.)

You could also marvel at what you created (or helped create) and see how good you can get at it.

Very good picture. Once you and I( and others :) ) figure out how to use all aspects of the program the pictures can be very much better. If you have any hints do tell. I currently have all the graphics for the pics as high as they can go to get best "looking" pic, although I do not know how to make complex pictures.(or too much work)

You can also move the camera up and target object up or down. Very good program indeed.

Hmmm, a pity this can't be used for commercial purposes. If it could somehow have been used to create more realistic landscrapes for maps for Emperor Battle for Dune... now that would have rocked!! :D

you press render image. on the main tab (rendering control) then it will render the picture, once that is done you can click save button on top left corner of the same window as the rendered pic.

you save them as bmps, but before you post them on here you should convert them to jpgs so they dont take 900kb.

Oooh, this program is sweeet! :D

I absolutely LOVE it! I've already got the hang of it, but I hope to make much more complex landscapes in the future.

Anyway, here's my first one. I hope you like the sunset. :)

He he, thanks. :) And yes, I always turn the settings to max...

Hey, what do you think about this second pic? (see attachment)

Nice Martian sky with some grass in the foreground - this would go well with the novel Green Mars. 8)

Maybe I'll start a "Landscape of the week" topic... this could be the first one.
