Hail to the Holy Bomb

Seems now days that technology is growing too fast for our own good. It reminds me of the second (and worst of the series) of planet of the apes. We worship ourselves and our technology like the ancient babylonian king nimrood. Going way out of control. Everywhere the hype of technology is bigtime. Just yesterday I saw something refreshing, a kid sitting under a tree alone looking at the sky and smiling for the longest time. It kinda connected because that is what I do as well. Technology now days is just a tool, and I think some people forget that. Anybody know what I mean?

What the hell are you thinking? The kid was probably having an anyerism, and you jsut sat back and watched him die, you sick bastard?!

Hasn't anyone ever told you that sitting watching young boys for long periods of time is not a good thing to do?

it is our only strength. Some creatures have strenght, others have razorsharp teath and claws and are made for fighting, while we can use tools, and use strategies. Our mind is both a blessing and a curse. This goes for everything.

Humans have cheated a lng time in history. We do not hunt and catch our own food. Hunters do. I think pigs and cows are beginning to look like Matrix now, they grow, they eat, we kill them and eat them. They have no chance. Every other wild animal hunts its own food...

Technology has become the crutch of blind men. Who do I fool we know that we need it. We use it even now as we speak to convey our ideas to each other across seconds of time. What could mankind do if it stopped trying to find 'better' ways to kill. The battle lies within humankind that is the real war. The war of the differences (pick one it does not matter). Technology has its rewards take for example the wheel, without it humankind could not have advanced forward. Technology also has a price for it's invention and use example splitting atoms. With the inventions of the past century we have learned the destructive nature of humankind and so who knows what the future holds for the 'technological advancement' humankind is planning today.

And TMA-1 would could talk for a long time about why the second movie was the worst of the series but we knew it's 'socail protest' would get muted even if it is just a sci-fic movie.

most of the other movies were social protests of the times. Some were just done better and with not as many screw ups as the second one. I dont have time to point those out.

I do what year is it? 3978 or 3955? Where did the dog tags come from? Why is Brent different? His ponch makes him stand out even more. ;) Where did Chuck find those underwear? Who taught Nova to ride a horse she is suppose to be a primitive? Where did Charlston get the mullet? Apes have posture? I could continue but I won't because it's not funny anymore is it?

well you can't CHEAT life. We just used our strenght, and as you can see. In the end brains victor of brute strenght. I do not think that all we do is good. But animals would do the same if they could
