Nope. Last (automated) reply from WW was on Sunday.

Last Sunday ? But I thought the problem was reported much earlier ? Or was this the 2nd auto reply ?

Usually there's only one auto reply. If reply stating that it didn't help, a real person is supposed to work on your prob...

At least, that's how I've experienced it till now...

This is the second or third autoreply, with FAQs listed.

Radar, could you try the following:

Go into the BIOS and find the option called: "AGP aperture ".

See what it's current setting is and try to put it on 16mb or 32mb.

Another thing, could you check your Virtual memory settings and let me know how they are managed ? (Got to start => Settings => Control panel => System => last Tab. There should be a button stating "Virtual memory").

Let Windows manage my virtual memory settings.

Going to try the BIOS stuff asap.

My first post in this topic...

I've probably left it a bit late... But in all honesty of the 3 people on the forums who still play Emperor, I don't think they need my help :)

Haven't got the time yet, very busy with christmas preparations.

Merry Christmas! btw ;-)

BTW, if anyone is running EBFD on Windows XP and it crashes, make sure you've updated all your drivers with the ones from your manufacturer (not the ones that come with Windows XP). And with all, I mean also your CDROM/DVD/CDRW drivers (I've heard of cases where updating the DVD drivers solved EBFD from crashing ??) !!!
