Still too big?

I'm trying to re-size my sig pic (if you open up the attachment I just locked int he dungeon, you can see how big it was originally). Is this small enough, or do you guys think it should be smaller? I'm asking because not everyone has amazing connections here.

i think it should be smaller, because takes up too much room. is there a code you could use that when someone moves the mouse over a smaller pic it could get bigger? good pic though. so you are wanting the whole picture? not going to try to crop just a particukar part?

Yeah, I was plannin on using the whole picture.

The problem with shrinking it more is that you won't be able to read any of the words and everythign gets blurry:-. I'll see if I can make it a bit smaller.

sure, but harder to make out words. it would be nice if there was code to make it bigger only when mouse went over it though.

the rule states:

Avoid using images in your signature. If you must ensure they are less then 400 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. does your pic meet that stat?

well if it was originally that size it wouldn't be quite so bad. but since it's originally a 1024x768 wallpaper i get some slowdown when i scroll down the page.

i guess it would be ok, only bad thing is you have to scroll down more to get to next post, that is the good thing about banners..maybe if you put the banner from scifi.com up instead. ;)

the size is great but all the white color hurts my eyes. it definetly pops out for people to notice

I'm at 64k and I think the speed is still acceptable. And even if it wouldn't be, what are they going to do? lol ;)

The only thing for debate would be whether it is too big as in it takes up to much room on replies, people with slow internet can have it cached I beleive.

I have 56k, and it takes a bit of time to load. But I have no problem with it, since the actual messages load before the images. The main problem that I have with larger pictures in sigs is that it makes posts larger than they have to be.

Anyway, it's no problem to me.

yeah it's too big now i guess... i had one as big as thise one once... and it was too big according to the mods, and i agreed on that actually
