timenn, you're missing the point. (for the most part) we don't take THEIR money and spend it on things and we don't make THEM spend extranneous amounts of time with US. They usually tend to take our money b4 their own. and we usually end up giving it to them. it's the circle of life. don't ask how it's a circle tho b/c i dunno. i just felt like saying it. ;D

There are some simple solutions available:

Be a miser (It works for me)

Avoid getting a girlfriend (As above)

Keep track of money youve spent and make the debtor aware (I've not tried that one,)

Other solution: hide your money and claim you live from social security...though it may be difficult to keep your girlfriend then...try it and tell me the result.

last but not least solution, before you start a relation, you ask her if she accepts you the way you are.. if she says yes, you say your a prick and she doesn't get a coin
