In the french books, the Vernius are "comte" ...

hat noblity title can be translated to Count or Earl.

In the books, english, how are the ruler called? Earl Vernius? Count Vernius?

arm, aslo....

if we're talking about an Earl, do we say:

"[...] as the Earl Vernius would think[...]."

or would say:

"[...] as Earl Vernius would think[...]."

???

I would say Lord or Duke as well, even though comte does mean count (there were a couple characters with the title Count, like in Dune#1), and the Earl sounds right.

Earl Dominic Vernius....

Still, we got Count Ilban Richese!

But, when I search for it, Earl and Count are the two of them translated in french by "Comte" .... weiiiiiiiiiiiiird english ppl :)

It is indeed Earl Dominic Vernius.

And some languages have more words where other languages have only one. Like the Inu

Wallach IV was their "capitol" planet during the first books, I think it got destroyed later on so they moved it to their secret planet Chapterhouse.

They changed there home planet every thousand years or so (I think) and kept it secret with no-ships/fields and each one was always called Chapterhouse. At the time of HoD it was was Wallach IX I think.
