I have to admit there are a few of you (Edric and Emprwrm) that I thought of when I saw this week's issue and its cover. Let me quote the title to you:THE AMERICAN EMPIREAnd the subtitle reads:IS THE U.S.TRYING TO SHAPETHE WORLD?SHOULD IT?(and yes those caps are the way its printed on the cover, except I'm too lazy to insert a bolding tag.)It has a bald eagle with the american flag in its mouth perched atop the globe as the cover pic. If you turn inside to the article itself...one of the pictures is Earth with pie crust, and a huge stars and stripes hand cutting a piece out of it.Anyhow, the whole American Empire thing just made me think of these boards. lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
