EDIT - below is old news that I am preserving, new avatars had nothing to do with landsraad.

ok, i started this thread so i dont "spam" other threads about this.

i have gotten ok at making some will update soon.

if you think you got a good avatar i think you can post them, as long as they are actually avatars that can be used on this website. i believe they have to relate to Dune, and if you need info on size or whatever i just copied an avatar on this site to get that info.

also, can the avatars be jpg?, i think i have been using gif's

thanks to the landsraad for the pics.(hopefully notified about using them soon. get too excited at making avatars :D )

maybe they can be both....or just jpg, as gob used the one i submitted as jpg.

i beleive that using these pics, since i obtained them from the landsraad, will have to wait until i can use them(permission form landsraad or something)

You should take the images from the miniseries official site and turn those into avatars. They are almost the right size, just need to be shrunk/cropped a bit.

yes. you may wonder why there is 2 black lines going down each side. the reason is that the original pics are longer than width is, and i dont think that stretching the width would make it look better. i just make it smaller by 71% width and 70% height. (the one percent extra in width is so it is 50pixels) still working on it though.

EDIT - i think i may have solved this problem

ok, i will do as many (1 per character at most i think) then zip them... ;)

You mean the other dune moon in another thread? Me not understand. I got rid of one of them(the worse) in that thread.

They were the same except one was not centered as good as the one that is there now.

Thats from Dune 2000, even if it is in the Emperor files.

It's slightly diffeentto the d2k worm, I think. I_abar.tga is identical to the At barracks icon in d2k, though.
