Come to think of it, wasn't that one floor only destroyed? It didn't destroy the whole building, so maybe they had stuff on different floors?

I hope its about the battles against skynet and the intelligent machines. Not much shown in either of the two movies.

I think they said that Terminator 4 will be about the future war... not sure.

Maybe you're right... but what technology could that arm possibly contain? It still seems strange to me...

The first movie was set in 1984 I think... and the same year they found both the arm and the chip, so they had pretty much time in developping SkyNet. And yes, I think they copied all the results and research they did about the chip, remember: SkyNet is a military machine that is build for nuclear and other super-weapons of the government, so the information is probably stored in Pentagon... no just kidding, the information should be stored in a very safe place, like Area 51 for example, why not... but that's not the issue. The thing is that another corporation continued from where CyberDyne "failed". I think John Connor encounters something that leads them to this new corporation...

Anyways, for those who has seen the trailer, and as well either T1 or T2, can notice that the flying things do not look the same as the old flying things, but the metal-skeletons are still there, hehe... I consider this little as a "moviebug"... anyway, for those who didn't know: James Cameron got the Terminator-idea from one of his nightmares, he dreamed of a metal-skeleton that stared at him, consumed in flames. Also, Arnold were ment to play as the good guy, it was only when Arnold and Cameron had lunch together that Cameron uttered: "You are a machine". And so we see the result in the movie hehe...
