The Black border

I've been told if I use the black border of the map is cheating.. cheap.. and else! I recently know the secret of the black border (TBB) just 2 days ago, while I'm playing with noogil or something (forgot). he is my ally, we just met.. and he use drones running off the TBB, I cant saw the drones body, but I can see the trails.. .I asked how did u do that!!! and he told me... ok.. but my logic is if u send an attack units using TBB, that is not fair since u can shoot enemy, but they can't shoot u.

1 case: if someone dont know anything bout TBB.. and he drag his ADV carryall carrying APC full eng to the edge (on their terms)... enemy probaby cant see it.. and succeed! is that still cheating? in his logic: somepeople dont scout to edge right, so perhaps I got the chance not being spotted!

I've been told by my seniors FEW that I shouldnt do that again. I agree, I will not! never! but I wanna see some people opinions here... dont just say crap!

it's using a bug in the game, so it is cheating. It was not made to use it like that...

The BZ (blackzone) is a bug cheat... or thats my opinion of it. But it is a bug that they (WW) knew of the bug during the beta test but did nothing about it. On top of that get this... I was beta testing Generals the other day and part of my hanger was over the map, I mean way over the map. So far in fact my exiting helicopters would have to be selected with the keyboard to move them from the BZ. Looks like its in Generals too... but waypoints arent able to be set at this time.... maybe its to early in testing I dont know....

Yeah I was sickened yesterday by some guy using the bug one me, unfortunaly for him I already had a firm grip on the whole desert on Fihers plain :), but it really is sad when people do that.

I only use the black border when i see that the others are doing it too. Some use it to engie drop your base. Anyway there are some methods you can use to counter or avoid that...

So in other words you want us to tell you how to cheat? ::) The bug shouldn't be used by anybody, unfortunately that isn't that case. You'll probably figure it out for yourself if you haven't already done so, but I sure as hell hope that no one tells you how. IMO, that would be just disgusting.

i rememver another guy did this i think his name is deth35 he used a ADP i asked him that he knows it is cheating. he said that its not cheating and all best players use that bug... silly guy im sure all the best arent the best coz they use that >:(

i can't stand that damn bug. a while ago i was playing a 2 on 2 with some people. i don't remember what their names were. anyway, my parnter gets whiped out and his partner gets whiped out so it was just me and him. i decimated his base but he was hark. so he built an adp and sent off the map. he said something like, "F*ck you. that adp is staying there until you quit and i win." i hate people who even use that bug let alone drag out the game to try to win. >:(

I think I might have a way to force units out of the black zone. ^-^ Problem is, the AI doesn't send units into the black zone, and I don't want to try on a human. :-

if you can send enough stuff by it, if it stops, it might move to the side to let the other stuff get past. i'm not sure tho.

Yes that was what I was thinking. Just flood the area with lots of drones and get sard elites and other anti-aircraft units standing around the area where the unit in the black is. You will of course, have to know where the unit is to start off with. Otherwise, you'll have to flood the entire black border with loads of aircraft. I haven't tried it though. :P

you can usually find it on the map. and aside from that, its usually attacking your base. so you can see the gun trails of it. aside from that tho you'd be screwed

if you target a unit that goes into the black BEFORE it goes in, it will be hit no matter what.

only prob is that you gotta see it happen :-
