The Warschauw pact was formed to create a counterpart for NATO (north atlantic treaty organisation). Essentially this was the eastern bloc.

England and France stould with the white (mild, democratic socialists), because they had an agreement. The white government would continue to help England and France in the war if they would acknowledge the white government. So they weren't very happy when Lenin took over.

Marcel, please, improve your dictionary too, anyway k**** is an euro-slavian word, Russians use primarily "cubka" in that meaning. But back to topic.

When Germans fought their way into Russia, they were still closer to their capital, Petersburg. Russians fought heavily and with nearly unlimited numbers, altough morale after emperor's abdication (but also even before it) was still worse. This led to many disertions and rebellions. I think western reinforcements and diserted Slavons from austrian army fought better than home guards. Then, German geheims found Lenin in Switzerland and carried him on a boat to Petersburg. What was next, some of us will celebrate on Thursday.

West boycotted Soviet Union, as East boycotted them! This is main difference between Soviet Union and USA. Power of USA is in economics and Russian power was in their army. People wanted economic, not despotical state, so they had rebelled against communism. In 1989 at last victorious.

Not against communism, against Stalinism. The society of Russia goes against everything communism stands for. Wages were more unequal then anywhere else, citizens were starving, and undemocratic.

Lenin and his sucessors were the new czars.

That's because the "communism" in eastern Europe was nearly, if not as perverted as the society in Russia.

So, if all other capitalistic countries would commit mass-killing of a national minority, it will mean something. But all communistic countries are in their roots like USSR.

Because their roots lie with the Soviet union. Hitler wasn't able to spread his malicious ideology across Europe (well, a little, sadly).

You see, this is why I don't call myself a communist. The name "communism" has been tainted by history, and it is now used when referring to soviet stalinism.

That's why the TRUE marxist communism needs a new name, one that will not be tainted by the mistakes of the past.

Lenin simply built a dictature and put a sign "communism" on it.
