You are an insignificant speck. And you can thank capitalism for that.

ahh, cut it Edric. You dont do yourself any credit by blaming every single problem of immorality on capitalism. The problem that is swelling up in the US is that it is abandoning the concept of absolute moral law. Democracy is becoming too powerful. When the "people" bascially "vote out" moral law and vote in relativism, this is the result, and we have problems like this. This is not a problem with capitalism but a problem with too much democracy. I believe I explained very clearly that in my society, the absolute moral law would not be subject to democracy. hence, that book would be "abetting and aiding criminal behavior" thus selling it would be outright banned in my society.

Okay, let's not turn this into another political thread...

But one thing is certain: Amazon.com only cares about profits, and has no moral code whatsoever.

no they dont. they have no moral code at all. Compare to yahoo that bans the sale of NAZI items, among other things. I take my business to companies like that. Amazon.com is a repugnant company. You must write them Edric. Let them know that you will not tolerate it, even from all around the world. Tell them you will spread the word. Those punks need to go down.

Writing to them is a waste of time... only money can speak their language.

Besides, I never bought anything from Amazon.com. And after this disgusting immorality, I never will.

hey i just added an update to the page. This paragraph:

Amazon.com feels freedom is speech is more important than suffering children. Amazon.com should learn from companies like YAHOO that it is perfectly ok for a company to choose not to sell something. THAT is freedom of speech also. What if a Muslim extremist wrote a book titled "Suicide Bombing: How to Kill Maximum Jews with Minimum Explosives" Would Amazon sell that? How about a book titled "10 Ways To Snipe Innocent People and Not Get Caught". Or a book titled "The Poor Mans Guide to Making Lethal Bombs and Chemical Weapons". Amazon.com says it sells anything, yet would they sell books with those titles? What bigoted hypocrites!!!

heh. Never buy from amazon.com anyhow, okay, I admit I have used them twice to get books my local bookstore will not special order...so what if I've been their (local bookstore) most loyal customer for the last seven years in a row...
