I'm in require of a certin Mod

Well this time its about A required mod.I need a mod to unlock everything.For a few reasons:

1)Because i'm bored of old units

2)Because I need beter defense

3)Because I need attacking units

4)To make the game more fun!

So if anyone can get me a mod like that please post a reply and the mod.(If you have it)

see that fourm section way down on the bottom of the front page of the message board that says Dune Editing? Go there. you'll find all you need (and maybe even this thread after its moved ;D)

then make one ;D there are a few tools and some helpful how to threads and you can even visit some user made saites that provide usefull info... i think Nema has a good one.

im not sure about that, youd have to ask one of the more experiance modders.

but i do know an xbf utility has been uploaded to this site, maybe that can help...

use duneex to open them

or try my mod =)

it has over 45 new units in it (called Guild Wars)

Apollyon's mod is good. You could also try Updated Airstrike 4, which IMO is very good. Or if you want a Total conversion, Try Shadows of Arrakis, this even somes with a new intro made by Cyborg! And in about a week, mine will be released thanks to successfull beta tests. ;D

Visual mod creator is really not very good at making mods. It can't add units, and it can only change a few properties. Mod manually.

ok, i was rude, but seriously, if you want a mod that you like, you can make it. there are modding tutorials at Jacob Douds's Site (click on his profile and click on his site....)

Try my mod at Dune Editing, Subhouse Building Mod. It adds new units for the TLeilaxu and unlocks units for all the other subhouses, and megacannons.

what does the tleilaxu walker look like/do ?

I tried to make the Tleilaxu walker function like it did in the Ordos mission in the campaign where you had to destroy the Tleilaxu infestation. It looks like a cross between a leech and a spider. It's basically a walking powerful bomb. You just move it next to enemy units and structures and deploy it for a massive explosion. (Sorry, despite all my experiments, I just couldn't get the Tleilaxu walker to create a Leech when it explodes). It's fairly vulnerable however, and not very fast.

I couldn't unlock the Guild Refinery, it just kept crashing the game. I've unlocked the Atreides General, Duke Achillus, and the Harkonnen General. Next will be Ordos. :D

you could ask innoculator. he supposedly unlocked the guild and ix refineries for his personal mod. i didnt play it though, as my moms comp wont accept emp anymore for some reason.

I could unlock any of the units you want. My mod has only a few of the changes I made, so that future releases are more interesting. If there are any specific changes you want made just email me or post them here and I'll make them.
