And asorted units etc, KH3 will be to KH2.11 what windows 98 SE was to windows 98, ie, just a new name and minor bug fixing. Plus the art and a couple of extras, nothing major

thats good. i will be getting a new video card today and will basically leave Fed2k for a while....i dont like transferring files that well since my new one doesnt have internet :'(

If there's going to be some minor enhancements to KH2 in this new KH3 mod, can I suggest some of those enhancements? ;D How about making the spotlight available and the large windtrap, (like an ixian windtrap with two halves of a windtrap cut into the sides of one windtrap), and enabling the construction of the Ixian Refinery, Guild Refinery, and Tleilaxu living turrets? Also, the Tleilaxu containers and Tleilaxu windtraps could also be very interesting, perhaps the Tleilaxu containers could be power plants that produce lots of energy but are really delicate or something... :-

First of all, I'm not sure we'll call it KH3. We might just name it KH 2.8 or something like that...

Second, it will NOT be stand-alone. It will be a really big patch, not a separate mod.

Third, no new *useful* units. We might enable useless things just for atmosphere (like the Spotlight) and introduce secret units that are insanely hard to get, but we won't add anything that would change the gameplay, like the Living Turret.

All those windtraps have no use? Then why not scrap the Atreides, Harkonne, and Ordos windtraps and just have 1 'universal windtrap' that everyone uses? I'm just saying that if the Tleilaxu could build the Tleilaxu windtrap (at least when you have them as a subhouse), perhaps this windtrap might add more/less power than a normal windtrap used by one of the 3 houses. The texture/appearance of the Tleilaxu windtrap wouldn't be a bad addition in my opinion. Look at the Ixian windtrap. It's basically two windtraps in one, which makes it produce double the power of a normal windtrap. :)

As a matter of fact, all 3 House windtraps are identical. They only look different.

Yes, I presume so, though it is secret, so even I don't know.

All I get is a telegram in the mail telling me to make units, then I make them, and some of them appear in mods all round the place.

I have nothing to do with this 'secret' in the KH3 as far as i know

Well why don't you make the 'large' windtrap available to all 3 houses then? That would bring the balance back in equilibrium... ::)

Fine. If the people want Large Windtraps, we give them Large Windtraps! ;) They will require an upgraded Con Yard though.

And the final decision belongs to Nema. The Large Windtrap is already there, all we need to do is make 3 different textures. So only if Nema agrees to go to all that trouble for a useless building, then we'll include them. Happy? :)

Wtf do you mean 'useless' building? The large windtrap would take up the same amount of space as a normal windtrap, but provide more power!! Therefore you can get more power out of less space!! >:( That's why I wanted large windtraps included in the first place. (Don't you think it'll add something cool to your mod anyway)? ???

It should be the same as in the normal game. Twice as much as a normal windtrap, since it's basically a windtrap with two halves of another windtrap on each side. :)

Ok, ok, but I still think it's useless. :)

Keep in mind, though, that the Large Windtrap will have only slightly more health than the normal one. You will get more power out of less space, but overall your Windtraps will be more vulnerable.
