But luckely the person we're staying with has a high speed internet connection, so I'm okay :)

Nyarlathotep
How is your holiday going? :)Pretty good ! What ever anyone says, Canada is a great country. If you like nature, you have to visit Canada. I'm staying at the feet of the Canadian Rockies. From here, you can travel to several points and see some great stuff (ever walked on a glacier ?). Also went dining at the highest restaurant in Canada at 2600 meters (7700 feet). The view at that point is excellent, cause you'll look out over the Rockies :)If you have the time and money, be sure to pay a visit to Canada !! Timenn
Yeah, I want to go to Canada too, but I don't have the money...But maybe later, when I have a real job, and live on my own.But I have walked sometimes over glaciers, in the alps then...Have fun with the rest of your holiday :)
Nyarlathotep
Okay, last day of my holiday here in Canada. I'm heading back tomorrow. I will get back to Canada though, probably summer next year :) I'm already thinking about buying a holiday log home (aprox. 2500sq feet) at the ski resort here :)
Gobalopper
So who would use the log home when you aren't there? :)
Nyarlathotep
On the ski resort there's also a team that rent people's houses. Mine is going to be part of that :) So far I can pay almost for the ground and the complete house. It then still needs to be furnished though. Compared to The Netherlands, houses here are cheap.. very cheap :)
Marcel71
How much for such a home ???hehe, maybe we can become neighbours ;)
Nyarlathotep
How much for such a home ???hehe, maybe we can become neighbours ;)The ground I'm looking at buying is a 1000 sq. meters. It'll cost me $ 250.000 (Canadian dollars). The house that I have in mind will cost me around the $ 250.000 - $ 300.000 (Canadian dollars). I'll try to see if I can find some pics of the house :)
