napalm on a stick imagine what you could do?! ;D

pass em out to the neighborhood kids to play with ;D I can see blamo calling me now wanting to mass produce them for all the toy stores ;D

reminds me of that OLD SNL skit. The human torch kids costum. Old oily rags with safty pins and matches ;D or the Space suit, a plastic bag and rubber band for the helmet ;D

I can't even imagine there is a man who doesn't know what plasma is. Flame. Lightning. Nothing more than ionised gas. Plasma weapons are part of arsenal of armies since WW1. Flamethrowers (not napalmthrowers) are nice weapons. Also I saw someone patented ranged electrobolt weapons (Airtaser or what). Sonical weapons exist too. Primarily non-destructive grenades against demonstrations.

These sound weapons are merely penetrating frequencies, with high amplitudes.

Better frequencies are like those around 3GHz - vibrations which excite water a hell of a lot - these can boil your blood. You can also se the frequency to the resonance frequency of concrete, shattering buildings.

Flame is not a single substance. When something oxidises, the gas around it may appear to give off light due to its heat, and the substances reacting inside it. That is all.

Fire is far removed from pure energy...

Also I'd like to add: the hotter the fire, the bluer the flame. This is because light at the blue end of the spectrum represents a higher energy state than light at the red end. As atoms are excited they give off energy in the form of light. If they are excited more, they give off more light energy, and so the color of the light moves towards blue.

plasma isnt pure energy. plasma is ultra heated matter. it doesnt change from matter to energy. only anti-matter and matter particals put together can turn matter into pure energy. plasma just makes a lot of the matter into energy.

Very strue TMA_1 on anti-matter, the exact opposite of matter, positron instead of electron, anti-proton instead of proton, but I've always wondered if since neutrons are neutral are they also in anti-matter? ???

Plasma is energy? Bah, what you were doing on physics! But seriously. Plasma is officially 4th stage of matter after solid, liquid and gas. It's a matter without electrones or only pure electron field, fully ionisated. There are rumors about 5th stage, totaly "unidentificable" atoms, but that's very hard to find.

When a heavy star explodes as a supernova, the core is left behind. Without the nuclear reactions that used to take place before the star exploded, the core has nothing left to keep it from imploding under its own gravity. Its gravity is so powerful that it keeps imploding until even the atoms get crunched and the electrons fall on the nuclei. Thus the only particles left are neutrons, and the result is a sphere made not of atoms, but of a neutron "soup" with the density of an atomic nucleus. (!!!) So essentially, a Neutron Star is one big nucleus. (if the original star was VERY big, the Neutron Star collapses further and turns into a Black Hole)

Just to give you an idea of the immense density involved: a teaspoon of Neutron Star matter weighs as much as the largest oil supertanker in the world. You couldn't lift a few grains of dust with a crane!

Yes, it's like this:

When you imagine the nucleus of the atom as the size of a football, then the first electron will be about 10 km away from it. Imagine if that collapses...

Edrico, nuclei of neutron star atoms never become one big nucleos. Even black holes aren't so solid. According to space string theory, this "totaly collabed" matter is impossible. If it's true.

I cant understand you caid ivik.lol

You guys arent scientists. You guys have a jumble of facts with ideas that are theory and hypothesis. We cant be too sure that quantum theory explains these anomelies. Some scientists are trying to find how einstein errored in his ideas. There is never a perfect science. its always growing and learning more. Einstein himself would be the first to agree that his ideas are not fact. but one of the best ideas we have. Also it wasnt just einstein that came up with breakthroughs in quantum theories. many other great scientists did as well. We are finding more and more that quantum theory cant explain many things. Just like how newton's "laws" dont account for things outside a certain size or speed. Quantum theory will be exchanged with other better theories in the future. But from I could read of what Caid Ivik said, he is correct.

Edric, it would not be possible to get a teaspoon out of a neutron star, because the lack of sufficient gravity would cause the matter in the teaspoon to explode.

And plasma is not a viable weapon- at least not in an atmoshpere. The atmosphere would thin out the plasma, wich would loose power with every metre.

If I understand well, Plasma is iononised gass, and has no electrons. That means that all those games where you SEE plasma are wrong. For light comes from the electrons (foto-emission)
