something really want to say this day.(maybe get a little mad ;D)

now then ww are just making E&B and C&C general. they have totally stopped to support this game...only let people enter their server to play and dont fix any bug in the game... :'(and not long ago i have see a topic that say the game store are also stopped to support this game... :'(

now people are started to living this game by some reason and no new player to join(they cant find the game or just remember war3?), after a long time, is that i have to wait a long time to let people to join my game?

As far as im concerned emperor died a while ago (well the qm and bc ladders).

I dont know how people can even think about buying generals when u know what ww is gonna do...I mean Ra2 has been abandoned also..and their "new" game renegade i played and watched it being dumped like the rest (renegade stopped being patched and the ladders have been screwed for months).

They have no minds, no feelings, they don't care about anything and they abandon everything after a few months cuz they want to make something new, more challenging. And this goes on and on and on. Westwood games that have a lot of support like RA2 was dropped like a dead rat. What's wrong with those people. For gods sake at least leave it to someone who does care about that game.

Indeed... I also just don't get it. If it's good game, popular and so on and even based on very complex world of Dune... Why abandon it? They could make a couple of add-ons to it or maybe an mission disk or something... Fight for house corrino (or what's left of it).

If they have money and power to do it, why they always do something new? Look at Blizzard, they are even now supporting StarCraft one way or another, why WW can't do it...

Hmmm... agreed... the WW team who made RA2 were a bunch of fools... they said themselves that they were totally new to the strategy genre (or was it to making games?) and that they were just going to MESS around and PUT IN WHATEVER CAME TO MIND then they said they though RA2 WAS A SUCCESS:D and that they were going to do YR the same way... good thing i never bought that expansion

I saw way before YR came out that Yuri's team were going to dominate because the of the irrationional personality of the developers... who the hell has an irrational development team for a STRATEGY game... if anything that team should've been makeing first person shooters or something

(it's actually my warcry when i'm gonna conquer asia.) in the US and Europe i will use EATME! i've not thought of something for south america, afrika and the middle east yet though

blizzard : 1.try hard to make a game --> 2. good marketing -->3.people buy it --> 4. keep support the game --> 5. have a good marketing for more to buying the game --> (return to 1.)

they have keeping do that for long ago, so i find that why so many people will look for their game and also someone here are move to war3...because they have promised their game is good.

I think if everybody will ask (send a email) to WestWood to conceive Emperor 2 they would have good chance that they listen us.

I have already send mine. I don't have received any answer.

I will send again. But sure if I'm alone nothing will pass.

For pessimist person who prefer say they are nothing to do (and sure it's that they do in their life, nothing to change things, for things arrived) this message is not for you.

So forget it.

Emperor 2 can exist if every people who love really this game want it and send message often (until Westwood be so tired to hear us all that they decide to build it).

Also u can send suggestion for Emperor 2.

Like permit slow modem (56Kbps)to play correctly with this game.

More movement (snow who fall, rain who move, water who move, special unit for water - Caladan, special unit for snow - Draconis), etc.

No, Edric isn't being pessimistic, he's being realistic. Emprworm had people fill out a form of the same message trying to get WW to fix a serious bug. Nothing happened.

Later we learned that WW knew about the bug right from the get go while it was in Beta! Shows you how much they care, doesn't it?

Sorry guys to feel like the only too optimist person.

But I take the resolution, until I leave Emperor - if I do that a day, to send a message in each week asking to WestWood to build Emperor 2.

And I don't have care about rumor of one person or other who say one things about what Westwood think or not.

I think just if everybody, who LOVE really Emperor and not just cause their neighborough play to that, send a message in each week at Westwood a day somebody good will listen us.

But again if I'm alone sure nothing will be pass.

It's like in real life.

People talk and talk a lot but when it's time to do something, and not just give 1 min of his time, we find anybody.

People don't want things really. When we want we do all what we can to realise this things.

HBomb, how long have you been in this community? I have been here from before Emperor was even announced. I know how Westwood is like.

I'm an optimist, actually. But I'm not deluding myself. When something isn't going to happen, it isn't going to happen. And there's nothing I can do about it except perhaps bust in the Westwood HQ and take hostages. :)

agreed. Westwood has had multiple opportunities to make their games as succesful as let's say blizzard's war3 perhaps if they only cared more for their community. But i lost faith in westwood
