TMA_1
It says in the book that the body of a drained corpse is given to the great worm as an offering. Very true also nema. Plants and animals could adapt and grow pretty abundantly. Enough for 15,000,000 people to eat decently. Also the humans could have changed their metabolism after being in the desert so long like you said.

vidiware
nemas think is logically, and if a bigger animal eats 50 mice... then 4 bigger animals... 4 dogs(or somethinh) to eat... each year...

nemafakei
A fremen'd body is his own, but the water belongs to the tribe... so giving to the worm as an offering is probably the default choice, but individuals could choose their own burials or whatever."isn't spice worm sh*t?!"Frosco, just think about what the navigators use to fold space. No wonder they're so ugly!
