Razorox... you're absolutely right

Wow, you're one of the only...wait...make that THE only person I know who can admit when their judgement is flawed, and have no problems saying it. Now that's a man I can admire, seriously. :)

*Not sure if that was supposed to be some kind of sarcasm on your part, but if it was, forget I made this post ;D

Funny you should say that...My very perverted (former) friend has 20gb of porn on his computer. He runs it as an FTP server on MIRC. I find it difficult to look him in the face now that I know that.

what a load of crap......a kid who doesnt like his friend because he has a porn server.....Ace you know you are on that server every nite and that he is your most popular friend ;D ;D ;D :P

Partially you were right, partially you were wrong. That makes my earlier comment partially sarcasm, partially not sarcasm :)

You were right about the earlier versions of the Pentium, on the later ones (P4 1.8) you are wrong. Maybe you thought of the different socket types, but the Intel 1.8Ghz processor came in two socket versions ;)

You were absolutely right about the AMD upgrade process though (although from experience, most users will buy faster memory and new motherboard), no lie in there.

And there are people who will buy the fastest possible (at that time), no matter if a "somewhat" less faster processor is cheaper (remember that the Barton, the new AMD processor, is still not able to beat the pentium on specs, which means that Intell currently will increase their lead on paper concerning specs (not talking about Ghz). One of those persons is me ;)

If you'd wish to discuss things further, I suggest we use IM, instead of Mahdi's thread :)

Not if you ask me.

With a new case and MOBO it's easy. Just screw in the thing and start pluggin in all the goodies.

If you have to switch your MOBO between cases it's not that big a problem to. Unless you have a verry old MOBO with all loose and seperate connetors. Else it's just the same.

In a way just as with Memory and expansion card, they only fit oone way.
