after about a week and a half or so stuck in the parallel universe of Finals Week; i have come to the conclusion that finals suck. Does anyone else agree with me?

On my Latin 3 final, I had to right a 400 word essay in Latin. Yeesh.

Finals? Are we talking 17/18-year-old exams (UK A - Levels)?

English into Latin, now that's fun, but harder than the other way aroung. In the UK, you never ever have to do that (even if you do Latin). And there's no oral exam. Greek is worse though. 400 verb forms for each verb, and only 2 verbs are regular.

there's a lot logic in the forms of Greek, a few basic forms and (ok I agree that with you) thousands of exceptions...

Latin is a world of exceptions. 400 forms? Each different for each different verb? Or are they regular for every verb? Either way that's a lotta memorizing.
